I think part of the reason we did so well, was that we got well organised into Commando groups. So congratulations go to Murska for putting all of that together. Thanks Murska!

now wasn't it my argument about not trusting Murska and saying that he might possibly be a horror.

I was wondering to myself why I didn't receive a grouping pm for a while.. ..and I was mildly surprised to see the game ended on day 5.

I was planning on telling Shadowcaller about my being an agent after narrators confirmed whether or not the scry was successful. Only noticing the game ending now makes me think I should be more attentive.

..Not that that I'd get much farther then the thinking stage.

Well done everyone, and sorry to HT that so much RL was crammed into this short period of time. I'm afraid I didn't assist much as co-narrator.

Why would anyone want to merge, anyway?

Why not? The game is about the team victory, not about individual survival.

Why? Because the net result is the same as killing the target, it might not work on anyone present resulting in loss of action, and the new player will be a worse wolf for a while until he catches up - and the guys who have info that would make that worthwhile are immune anyway.

Yes, in a few, very narrow situations it might be useful, but only in a few.

And this 'team victory' - funny, in a lot of recent games the only victor declared was the person last standing

Well, in the old games the old horrors could talk to the new ones that merged, sharing any information, but players complained about that.

Take the point when I merged for example. I had been scried that night. If Sanity hadn't been found out as well, we wouldn't have lost a horror that day. That is the point of the merge. When you suspect you are in danger, you merge and that way, the villager count goes down as the horror count stays the same. And even if you tried with an SEU Agent(commander or otherwise), it'd still kill them. Not only that, but it keeps the villagers guessing.

Indeed. Resetting all of the scry work on confirmed villagers is reason enough to merge, especially in this version where the scries happened before the merge.
