Random fantasy map generator

I'm making a setting, the premise is essentially there are hundreds of thousands of planets sentient life has sprouted up on, each ranging from barely above animalistic to crystal spires and Toga's. Various groups can hop between planets fairly regularly, so going from world to world is easy.

So I don't have time to make too many maps, I was wondering if there was a mechanic like that somewhere, randomly generates continents and whatnot.

Various strategy video games have map editors including random map generators, but they're probably not worth buying just for that purpose.

Your best bet might be to buy Cilization 4, get the cheat codes for 'reveal map', then use screen capture or something...it can generate a whole world, cities and whatnot, in seconds, to various specifications.
