WWC XI: Origins, The Recruiting Thread (CLOSED)
Hey All,
For those of you that don't know, I'm back and can post regularly. What this means is that I am going to begin narrating again! As the name implies, I want to go back to how things began when I posted the "original" WWC post. What this means is:
1) I'd like as many of the "Old Timers" from the first few games to participate as possible.
2) I have an idea as to whom I'd like to co-Narrate, depending on their availability, but for all intents, the job is open.
3) There will be no limit as to how many people may play, but in the spirit of the game and due to the patience of all, auto-lynching will be in effect, meaning players should post once per day cycle, even if they do not vote.
4) I am going to attempt something new, which will require personal integrity on each player's part, but that I think will keep the spirit of the game intact: I am going to ask that, with the exception of the Werewolves and Masons, nobody PM "behind the scenes." The object of this game is to have fun, not necessarily to win. Obviously, I have absolutely NO way to enforce this last rule, but again, for everyone's enjoyment, I ask for everybody to maintain their integrity here.
As soon as I see this post has been approved by Alarra or another Mod, I will also post in WW Central that recruiting is open.
Thanks again for everybody's support and participation!

I feel like an old timer sometimes, but I've only been around for a year and a half. Still a long time, but short in comparison to some.
In any event, in!

In. Classic is always fun.
And I don't generally PM behind the scenes anyway, so I shouldn't have any difficulty with that restriction."'But there's still such a lot to be done...'
YES. THERE ALWAYS IS."

Re: WWC XI: Origins, The Recruiting Thread
I'm happy with the initial interest, and I hope we get a big group together! I am wondering if ZRS, Shadow, Zeb the Troll, and Atreyu (to name a few) are going to join in, too. And to everyone who's played before and to anybody who hasn't and this is your first time, welcome! I'm not sure how long to leave recruiting open, but I'm thinking at least through the weekend, maybe a total of a week at most. What do you think, Alarra?

Re: WWC XI: Origins, The Recruiting Thread
Yeah, I posted the "original" Werewolf Classic game. It wasn't called Classic back then. That didn't start until after variations of WW began. Then came the structured games thread to organize it all. At least I think that's the timeline.

Re: WWC XI: Origins, The Recruiting Thread
Shadow might play with the "No PMs" rule on, you should mention that to him. Also, I'm interested to see how Murska does with that rule, as he PMs extensively.

Re: WWC XI: Origins, The Recruiting Thread
Well, the Seer would not be "nerfed" so much as has to play out in the open. The way the game is intended that everyone is and stays in the same room. The point of the Seer is to be a part of the "informed minority" and influence the vote subtly, only revealing thenselves to save themselves.
