[3.5] Exotic materials/etc.
Has there been any kind of compendium of all of the special materials in D&D? I've been searching, and have found sources detailing fluff, but no actual stats for the metals. IE: Baatorian Greensteel, or Starmetal.
I'd particularly like to get the stats for Starmetal, as from what I understand of one of the given theories for fluff, it'd be a good material for a set of legendary weapons in my campaign setting. However, I'm interested in finding other exotic materials as well (the only ones I've actually found outside of SRD are spidersilk and another material in the Underdark book.)
SpoilerDM: "Sunder the wall?! WT**** kind of tactics are these!?"
Me: The kind that armies have been using for millennia.
DM: They didn't do it with swords!
Me: Which makes us so much cooler.
Player: Where are the babau in relation to everyone else?
Me: They're right behind you. Vesil is covered in Loki's blood. That is their location in relation to you.
Player: I was just wondering about a fireball.

Re: [3.5] Exotic materials/etc.
Starmetal is in the Complete Arcane, it act as adamantine for overcoming (or granting in case of armor) DR, it also deals an extra d6 to oustiders

I asked the same question once, and was directed to a thread at the WotC forums...but who know where that is now with the decimation of their forum system.

Re: [3.5] Exotic materials/etc.
Dwarvencraft is a building process, not a material.
If you count building processes, there's Githcraft & Feycraft, which were reprinted in MIC. There's Gloryborn or something like that in DMGII.
Stormwrack has Chittan and Shell. Actually, all the environment books have some. Frostburn even has something called Blue Ice.
No idea where Glasteel (Glassteel?) comes from, but it exists.Avatar by Serpentine

IIRC Glassteel's in one of the FR books, mostly because the Avariel specialise in it. Can't remember where though.

Re: [3.5] Exotic materials/etc.
Crystal keep has a pdf for download that's a compilation of most armors and weapons with made with various exotic materials. It's the "Equipment" pdf.

Yep, I've got three different builds I'd like the opportunity to play some day that take advantage of it: a Body Outside Body gish with glassteel Mechanus Gear for nonmagical +13 AC superheavy plate, a halfling dragoon in glassteel Sectioned Armour, and the Adeptus Sororitas in a counts-as glassteel Tumbler's Breastplate.

There's "crystal" and "deep crystal" in XPH. Special effects of those are pretty psi-specific, though.

BTW: I'm the kind of player that detonates his rogue with some TNT against the giant oozy creature & triggers the hold person trap twice just to stop that annoying party member from lecturing him. .
Thanks Trazoi for the wonderful BG II avatar (Minsk & Boo).
And for the Holiday version too!!!

Riverine is interestingly nice. Blue Ice has some uses, as does Thistledown.
