Cohorts and Leadership
Simple question. Are cohorts allowed to take leadership? With some optimization, one person and a chain of cohorts could have several thousand people at their command.

Re: Cohorts and Leadership
Technically yes, but your DM probably won't allow it.
Also, since technically I think Cohorts are made by the DM, you wouldn't get a choice in the matter.

Re: Cohorts and Leadership
There's no RAW reason to suggest that a cohort can't have Leadership.
That said, as with any "spawning" type of massive numbers of followers scheme, remember that the cohort's followers are loyal to the cohort, not to you. If your cohort snuffs it, they don't necessarily continue to follow you.

Re: Cohorts and Leadership
A crusader could (ab)use this very well. First: i think there is a maneuver or stance that lets you charge w/o getting in eachother's way. Then, use the nineth level maneuver warmaster's charge. Thousands of damage with only a hundred people. With more...

You know you're an epic wizard when you use a stilled silent extended quickened Gust of Wind spell to blow out the candles of your candle covered birthday cake.
Adventurers steal everything thats not nailed down. And what is. And the nails. After all, a bag full of nails can fetch a pretty penny. No doubt they'll weaponize it, too.
