Well the difference between the stomp and striking Miko and her horse, is that during the "hitting game" the MitD was trying to hit as "lightly" as possible, lighter than Miko could.

Stomps usually imply a certain amount of extra force, than say a step. So since more force was probably used in the stomp, and to a greater effect than Miko's hit, we can find an explanation why the stomp caused tiredness and the hit did not.

I am unconvinced that the MitD's use of powers/abilities is linked to him being tired. Apparently the MitD likes to sleep and he does it a lot. I think we might be reading way too much into him being sleepy at specific points in time -not least because not a single creature in D&D comes to mind which displays such a characteristic.

Here are some title suggestions for the next thread:

    • MitD III - Alone in the Dark
    • MitD III - Darkness all around me
    • MitD III - Searching for illumination
    • MitD III - Turning towards the light

I agree with turning toward the light.
    This statement is false.

My favourite is still "MitD III: You are likely to suggest Tarasque"

Someone would totally use that to make an Appeal to Widespread Belief argument that the creature in the darkness is a tarrasque, and thus I am opposed.

New thread posted. Went with the Tarrasque, because it has received plenty of votes, and I can see it being useful (Tarrasque? really? Man, we didn't see that coming... wait, we did. We even named the thread after your silly idea!).

In the end, I decided no to create an intermediate list of suggested creatures, because it would make it more difficult to find if a creature had been proposed already. But I did change the names a bit, so it doesn't look like I'm putting down the non-forerunners.
