Default Question about the wording of Spell like abilities

Ok say you have a phrenic creature,
So the entry in the srd for 3-4 hd says " 3/day—empty mind, mind thrust"
Does this mean you can use each of the two abilities 3/day(3 empty minds AND 3 mind thrusts) or both combined 3/day(2 empty mind 1 mind thrust....)

I would go with the first interpretation in light of the spell like ability entries of demons, which wouldn't be able to do much with the second line of thought, but better safe then sry :).

It's the number of times you can use each SLA.
