(3.5) Versatile and/or Effective Suicides*

This thread made me think about multiclass characters.

Specifically it reminded us of that "one level of everything we can grab" idea for a joke character. And then that reminded us of how we'd once wondered if someone had made an effective build like that, or at least, out of basically 1-2 level dips alone including PrCs.

So basically, do you guys know of any moderately effective builds (let's say somewhere around where tier 4s can get with moderate skill in crunching 'em out? that are comprised mostly of dips or actually manage to only ever take a single level of any given class?

Well, versatility would be more of a secondary curiosity to the actual bit of being effectiveish.


*In this case, being a reference to the childish practice of taking a bit of every single flavor out of a soda fountain.
