Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
Logic is futile. o_o
@Knee: Pics or it didn't happen.
In other news, I fell asleep on the train today listening to Saxon. I woke up with the top of my jacket covered in saliver.
It was rather embarrassing.

Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
Couldn't hurt, a quick game, provided I don't get sunk into this little mental game of a poem not my business in the first place.
*****
the time is now
when the mortal are meant to fall
when, shouting, they engage the Danish banner
when eagles' food is on the shrieking earth
Bleh. For a properly poetic translation, I keep wanting to jam in additional active verbs. Too many passive versions of 'to be' to make a good strong verse IMO.

Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
Bahaha! I made you remember something bad about something good. And this time, hopefully making Rabbit Jealous too. I'm so evil...
Reminds me of a discussion me and some friends had about Slayer while listening to Alestorm actually. We all came to the conclusion that although they're good, they're one of the most over-rated band in the history of ever. Even my die-hard Slayer fan friend agreed.
D: NUUUUUUUUUUUU! The hair must floooooww.
Also, thanks. :3Last edited by Nameless; 2010-01-09 at 04:55 PM.

Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
Thanks [and to Kneen to for PM assistance], that makes a lot of sense; and you both came up with similar ideas.
As I type this response I see Quin did some reworking of the poetic translation, and it looks really nice. I'll probably mix my working with both of yours.

Urghh, if only I felt so good. I did a swimarathon today.
I incapacatated a teammate (think I concussed him) on my first lap, and later vomited. And then went back to swimming.

Hel-lo
Nice to see you too. Now, what was this about sitting about in a bathrobe? It is rather good fun, i'm lounging with my new lappy and being nice and calm, reciting one of the verses to Invictus to myself, commiting it to memory, like.

I make my victorious return. For full details, i did make an annoyed wee postlet in the depression thread - but I shall try to be back more, and for longer.
ALSO.
Playgrounders. There is an amazing TV show. It is called "Being Human" and it's wonderful.
