Gore Crows-A flying undead swarm(3.5)

I've recently starting reading Abhorsen, by Garth Nix, and have become interested in Gore Crows. I'd like to know if anyone has tried to stat them out. I'm not that familiar with swarm rules, and I'd like to know how they could be done.

The basic concept is that a bunch of crows are ritually killed and then reanimated by a single dead spirit, and are weak alone but deadly in numbers.

For the next part, I'd take the stats for the Murder of Crows (Tome of Magic, in the monster area of the Binder section) and simply give them the Undead type. Should do nicely.

or find an undead template that fits thematically and apply that so you generally get some nifty undeadness to it besides the immunities
