craftrap
thinking of making a PC or NPC kobold completely devoted to trapmaking , but I'm stumped as to which classes I should use to do so and which books have various traps described?
so far I was thinking Factotum since they get nice skill bonuses
ideas?

Re: craftrap
Dungeonscape has the Trapsmith PrC, Complete Scoundrel the Combat Trapsmith PrC. Neither of which are any good, but the interesting thing about Trapsmith is that the listed traps can be augmented by, say, poisoning the darts involved or applying spell enhancements on to them.
"So Marbles, why do they call you Marbles?"

Re: craftrap
There's a Combat Trapsmith PrC, which is decent as long as you continue taking levels of it. The Kobold Domain gives a 1st level spell, Craft Trap, that makes a CR 1 trap for CL hours as a full-round action.
