It was a very dramatic fight, if memory serves. I won in the nick of time, before he managed to cast anti-life shell.

This is actually two three way fights. The second one includes Sahir. The other includes a tactic that Saph assured me was illegal, contrary to the current ruling. So we started over.

I know it says in the first post that this won't count, but for the second fight (the one with Sahir actually in it) on we decided it did (via PM). Go figure.

This is a trap and puzzle dungeon, the first trap is the room you are currently in, yadda yadda.


So... after you get not-too-gently tossed into a portal out of Sigil, you end up in a 35 by 35 ft room with a door at the north.
You may choose your starting positions in the south half of the room.
Pay no attention to the numbers on the map... no attention at all... *waves hand*

Sahir uses his Summon Elemental feat to summon a Medium-sized Thomil. He has it walk in front of us to the doors. Anything happen?

At the space directly in front of the doors, a ten-foot pit opens.
Reflex save to avoid, please.
Please note that the effects are in no way over, no matter the result of your save.

The elemental takes (1d6)[1] falling damage.
This is then followed by a 10x5x10 foot block (the exact shape of the pit) falling.

It takes (20d20)[229] crushing damage, and will then die if it doesn't have some way out of the stone.
Also, is anyone adjacent to the pit? (The pit is [41209586, 158371581] to [41209587, 158371581]).
Otherwise, you can decide on your actions now. (No need for initiative or anything, though.)

With it's burrow speed, can it go up through the stone? Or to the side, or down or something?

It can roll another reflex save to do that before being smashed to an elemental pulp.

And now if nobody is adjacent to the pit (which is still where it was last time I posted) everyone can decide how they will get to the door or whatever you're doing.

Well, just to make sure the trap IS resetable, I summon another earth elemental and send him over.

If he is smashed, I summon an Orglash and have it fly over to see if the trap is triggered by proximity.

The trap does not reset -- ie the block is still stuck in the former-pit. However, as the earth elemental passes through [41209586, 158371582] a disintegrate beam hits it.
Note: square was chosen for convenience, since it doesn't matter

Yojimbo will switch to hear the air stance to gain blindsense 30, also spot check to see if I can determine the magic beam of death(TM)'s origin.

You can easily discern that the magic beam of death came from a magic trap. (That is, I'm not even requiring a check because I intended for that to be obvious.)
