But at least he seems to have stopped talking.

Zee takes in a deep breath of the forest air as the pine trees seem to sprout from the landscape around them. Of course, they aren't literally sprouting. But it's a rather abrupt change in scenery none the less.

The forest is wonderful. She loves forests. Lofty mountains. Wispy clouds...

She's been spelunking a few times. Though... from what Raril has told her in the past this place will likely be well beyond anything she has experienced.

Hopefully nothing will try to eat them on their decent.

"Oooh! Look Master! A cave! Caves are good places to sleep in!" the chimera comments in her exuberant, cheerful voice.

Raril might do well to tell her to quiet down a bit.

I wonder, as a two dimensional object... if your invisible from one side, that still leaves you visible at the others. ...Good thing Elle has climbed up from the cliffside. "You were saying?" She asks Magtok, and levels a pistol. "You lost me some money." She smiles at the fellow, baring her teeth in the most civilized manner.

"Shh... We must be quiet now. Underground, the slightest noise will atract unfriendly things." Raril explains, leaning down to whisper.

Through a break in the trees the sun could be seen, rising, painting the sky in brilliant shades of orange, pink, and red. But before them lay the dark opening of the mountain cave. The carriage rolls on, surrounded by the guards. In silence, the procession moves foreward, down intot he heart of the earth.

The visible part of him sort of gives him away mostly, but he's dodging Magtok mostly now, not on the attack, since he needs time to grab whatever he's grabbing.

He speaks, but slower and in a voice that says it hurts to do so now. Or rather he scoffs.
"You build up ssomething great? No. No I honesstly don't think you would've. Not becausse you wouldn't try. But becausse you'd fail. Tell me how the MoveMent worked out? Magtok Land? What about the MagCave?"

2-D SSM notes an interruption by a catgirl and looks over. His hand pulls out of his suitcase with a big book. He sighs. "Sseemss like the game iss over." He drops the suitcase and turns back into 3-D, the paper falling off his face. He's clearly bleeding as his cheeks were cut open. This is how he got the scars.

But despite this, he clutches the book tightly, as if letting it go is not an option.

MoveMent was intentionally half-assed, Magtok Land was just a cover for an underground research facility which still does some lab stuff now and then, and I've rebuilt my home. Should look into these things a little better next time, huh.

He then turns his head towards Elly with a smirk.

"That was a terrible story, Magtok." She sighs, firing with the first revolver, emptying the cyclinders and drawing the second now that her hand is free from crawling to her feet.

SSM drops the book as he gets shot repeatedly and dies horribly.

It lands open with a plop. Then shudders and shakes. A beam of equations shoots out and hits Squeaky Shoes Man dead body, causing it to disintegrate into ash. Similar equations shoot at Magtok and Elle, intending to end their life in retribution for their abuse of physics. Elle for being a catgirl and Magtok for all manner of things, including shapeshifting.

Quinn trails off as Melody leaves, and lays in the hay, hearing occasional shouting over the next little while, but too dazed to intervene.

Finally though, she stands, and, a little wobbly, goes to head out of the barn.

Estia and Lyanna will help Quinn go outside.

Once out, Estia will investigate the box of cookies on the ground. She picks them up and before anyone can stop her, takes a bite of one. Mmmm. They're not bad.

And who knows how long they'll spend below in the darkness. Zee's certain that they'll get out again. It'll just be a matter of time before they escape. She knows Raril is clever and resourceful. Not to even mention her own capabilities. Yes... just a matter of time.

And hey, she'll finally get a chance to meet her husbands family!

With one last longing look at the sky Zee slinks into the shadows of the underdark.

Except that when Magtok shapeshifts, no matter is lost or gained. If an arm stretches out an extra meter, a leg and some gums are yoinked away to act as that extra tissue. It might be a bit biologically improbable and consume a lot more energy than one would expect it to be worth, but no physics laws are broken there.

As for the anti-gravity spine, that's simply electromagnetism and your Inside tax dollars at work. Laser goose? Darwin's evolution theory, mixed in with a bit of interdimensional inconsistencies. And as far as I can tell/remember, there's really not much else on him for the equations to sniff out, nothing that'd stand out any more than the hideous physics issues that're spread all over the landscape.

So, as Magtok is nearly SCIENCE! incarnate and has at least one clone to fill in for him if something happens, he's really not too worried about the beam of mathematical equations, and attempts to send out a line of intestines from his right arm, to try to intercept the string of numbers and variables before they can reach Elly and do something awful. This move might come with a nasty spell, but hopefully will be worth it.

Fortunatly, it seems Magtok has managed to save Elle from figuring out if she's a freak of Physics enough to explode or evapourate on contact. She does try to tackle him out of the way by going for his knees, anyway, though.

And as far as I can tell/remember, there's really not much else on him for the equations to sniff out, nothing that'd stand out any more than the hideous physics issues that're spread all over the landscape.

Actually it would go after those issues that are spread all over the landscape. I think the only ones immune are NPCs and normals. Like Astrid. Unless she's done wacky stuff lately I don't know about. The reason it doesn't is because it's limited by distance. Of course, I imagine some are harmed more than others. Magtok likely gets singed or something.

Anyways, it appears some wacky combination of trying to block the stream and tackling each other out of the way is going on. Isn't it dangerous to try to save each other like that? I dunno. I suppose the first two streams are blocked and then tackle dodged. But it's a big book and does not seem to be stopping its firing of equations at the two cuddle bunnies. Especially while it is open.

Wait, wait, wait. Elle realises something that should've occured to her in the first place. She doesn't have a problem with physics. No, the only issue she has between her and normality is a few twists in evolution, and the Biology that's jammed in a bin somewhere. So after checking for any stray gods that feel like smiting her for there being Physics around, she'll try and approach the book, and close it if she gets close enough.

For she is the deity of the lesser known doggirls. In an attempt to cull the catgirl population and bring doggirls to the forefront, she set up a terrible curse. To this day, physics in a fantasy setting brings down her terrible smitage upon them. Yet, it failed to bring doggirls to the forefront of anything, thanks in no small part to catgirls' libido. The population boom was just too much to deal with. But many have fallen needlessly to the doggirls' goddess' jealousy.

She goes by the name of Queen B*tch.

Magtok takes a seat on the ground, and spares Elly only the shortest of glances before immediately switching out his biological eye and staring down at the ground. He's not quite sure if there's any icky bits visible, but he sure as heck doesn't want to have to look up and find out.

Well, at least he's saved us the trouble of dealing with a dead body. You okay? I mean aside from the "I'm going to freeze to death out here if we stay another minute" thing.

With that battle done and won, Magtok attempts to reach out with one badly singed arm, and take the book. Something like that could be incredibly useful for another clone at the moment.

She picks herself up, brushing at her strategically shredded clothes, and looking around curiously. "I hope that all of our dates aren't going to be like this." She peers down at the torn mess of the parachute on the trees below, "Drat..." She finally notices Magtok studiously staring at the ground, "Magtok, you. Are. Adorable." She laughs happily, wrapping her arms around him, and trying to crush him into a surprise hug... which his pose might make a bit awkward if he doesn't move.

Magtok immediately accounts for the approaching hug, and shifts accordingly to prevent things from getting awkward.

Ashes! I was looking at the weird guy's...ashes...Not looking away 'cause I didn't...No, I was looking away, but-

Magtok abruptly stops, and tries to get his thoughts tidied up and put back in their place. Better he just keeps his mouth shut until he knows what he's going to say.

Elle continues holding Magtok close, "Do you really not want to look at me that much?" She sighs quietly, squeezing his shoulders, "Should we just get on with your day off, or are you going to get involved with everything again?" She asks quietly, not daring to let go in case he just teleports away.
