Quick question on ToB

Does an initiator gain proficiency in the weapons associated to his disciplines? For example, is a Tiger Claw practitioner proficient with the Kukri or has he still to take Exotic Weapon Proficiency?

If the answer is "yes", where on the ToB can I find this piece of information?

No, not that I've ever been aware. Weapon proficiencies are listed for each class.

Kukri's are martial weapons, though.

Kukri becoming martial weapons was one of the changes from 3.0 to 3.5. And I only know that because I played NWN2 before NWN1 and got confused when I saw that Tomi Undergallows had Exotic Weapon Proficiency, but was only wielding a kukri.

Wow, it's years that I play 3.5 and I've never noticed that kukri was now a martial weapon...

Which leads to interesting scenarios such as a swordsage gaining weapon focus in spiked chains even though he is not proficient in their use...
