Re: Deathwatch (40k Space Marine RPG)
i see massive potential for boring.
There is only so many times you can say "For the Emperor!" and fire your bolt gun before it gets old.Aside from "have fun", i think the key to GMing is putting your players into situations where they need to make a choice that has no perfect outcome available. They will hate you for it, but they will be back at the table session after session.

Re: Deathwatch (40k Space Marine RPG)
Well sure, that's why it's called 'Deathwatch' and not 'Tactical Squad'. The DW get picked for the duty because they're actually smart and capable of unorthodox tactics, and they get the cool toys to go along with the smarts.

Re: Deathwatch (40k Space Marine RPG)
NICE.
Both Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader were very well crafted games- I'm looking forward to this. Especially if they can balance the game appropriately for how SMs are portrayed in the novels."It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
