I have an idea for a template. The idea in question is having some sort of godly heritage. Exactly what depends on the god, but I have a few samples. Basically, you gain more abilities from your god as you advance in HD.

I like the concept and execution... but you're treading on already-walked ground. There exists in the MMV a set of templates called the God-Touched, which are basically this.

Note: yours are nice and fun too (though, dear lord LA 4 is painful, make them LA 1 and we'll talk), but the God-Touched I think were a cleaner and smoother mechanical implementation of the concept you're going for.

Haha, they're not commonly remembered. That said, I DO like yours, but the LA is CRIPPLING for abilities based on HD.

That way the LA won't be crippling.

Hmm... I looked over it, and the MM5 ones, and I realized a few things:
1: The God-Blooded are more like pious servants who were blessed.
2: My LA is crippling.
I reduced it to LA +2, maybe it sucks less now?

Oh, right. But I'm thinking in a Percy Jackson-esque manner, as opposed to mythologically, so hopefully he can forgive this thread. (I have had another thread nearly shut down because it began tipping into mythology as opposed to in fiction.)
