Sorcerer & metamagic
Question: Does Rapid Metamagic feat from Complete Mage allow you to use the Quicken Spell feat with your spells?
Because it only says "When you apply a metamagic feat to a spontaneously cast spell, the spell takes only its normal casting time." (which doesn't necessarily imply that by using the quicken spell feat, it's casting time would shorten), while the metamagic specialist class variant from PHB II says: "You can apply metamagic feats that you know to sorcerer spells without increasing the casting time. This benefit even lets you quicken your sorcerer spells with the Quicken Spell feat."
Is there really a difference, was the intent different or it's just me seeing things? :)

Re: Sorcerer & metamagic
i am pretty sure that it does exactly that.
this is pretty much considered a requirement for a sorcerer, because quicken is so important.I do not have a superman complex; for I am God, not Superman!
the glass is always 100% full. Approximately 50% of its volume is full of dihydrogen monoxide and some dissolved solutes, and approx 50% a mixture of gasses known as "air" which contains roughly (by volume) 78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.038% carbon dioxide, and trace amounts of other gases.

Re: Sorcerer & metamagic
Sorcerers can actually get by fine without Rapid Metamagic and Quicken. At low to mid levels Quicken is too expensive anyway and Arcane Fusion does the job better. Once you get access to 7th-level spells Arcane Spellsurge is much better than Rapid or Quicken.
