Lords of Creation?

I just won an auction on EBay for the Lords of Creation rulebooks and supplements. I'm very jazzed and while I'm waiting for it, system tweaks and adventure ideas are rolling through my head.

I'm curious if the game has any fans here? Any house rules you like?

This is the Lords of Creation from the 80's, written by Tom Moldvay, not Lords of Creation for Exalted.

If you've never heard of it, it was an early attempt at multi-genre gaming. You played a demigod in training that gained abilities ranging from cyborg parts to magical spells. At the highest level, you got to create a pocket universe, which the game sort of said made you a GM.

So... am I alone on this one?
