    Default Anthropomorphic Personification Overdeities

There are entities within Creation that even deities dare not cross. These beings are of such puissance that even the most heinous of cosmic entities dare not antagonise them; Orcus flees, Asmodeus shies away, even Demogorgon cowers. No enemies willingly submit to their attentions; all who deal with them do so with the utmost respect. None lie to these; each deity and cosmic entity carefully phrase each word with the full truth, forming both their continued existence and advancement of their power.
Even the least of these Eternities can devastate an entire pantheon with offensive ease.

These are the most primordial of beings; torn from energies released before even the Origin of Time.

Their pathetic lessers stumble around like blind, drunk fools only grasping at the minutest abstraction of power. These represent each Origin with a singular totality so immense, a clarification so vehement that next to them, each deity or cosmic entity of similar portfolio appear as inadequate beyond all reason.

These are the Eternities, the Nigh, the Endless, the Permanent, the Incessant. From concepts of darkness, to oblivion and everything in between, these are the essences that birthed the very words and the meanings that define each and every one.

    Mortality Imposition
As a swift action, the Eternity may induce mortality in lesser creatures. All with a rank less than the Eternity must succeed on a DC 99 Save or suffer mortality. The DC always targets their weakest Save; all who attempt the save do so at a penalty equal to their rank and cannot roll at all to modify it. Permanency of the condition depends entirely upon the Eternity; those so affected cannot undo it by any means.

    Suffer the Divine
Contrary to what this Salient Ability suggests, deities and cosmic entities are equally affected. Those with a rank less than the Eternity within its presence suffer excruciating, tremendous agony. All suffer damage to the worth of twice their HD. This damage cannot be resisted, cannot be regenerated. Immunity does not apply; even Divine Shields or equivalents fail against it.

    Quintessence Extinction
The Eternity may cause the extinction of any lesser being. All with a rank less than the Eternity must succeed on a DC 90 Fort save or suffer irrevocable extinction; not only is their existence terminated, all records and worshippers are expunged and obliterated as well. It's as if they never existed at all. Success means those targeted suffer damage equal to their HD. Such damage resists healing and cannot be regenerated.

    DARKNESS
Devouring Dark, Ash of Colour, Dust of Light, Shadow Maw, The Erebus

Weeping, colourless fields and worlds extinguished of all light bear grim testament to the raw potency of one of the least accessible of the Eternals; The Erebus.

Invisible waves of crushing despair and incredible loss follow in His wake; leaving only ghost haunted dreams. The very colours themselves are leeched of all vitality, of all vibrancy in His presence, becoming deadened and hollow; emotions lose all meaning, actions are useless.

Even light cannot escape Him; it is devoured in such completeness that not even deities of light or cosmic entities of sight can penetrate the utter darkness.

More than one rumour, never spoken, never explained, maintains that The Ash of Colour is Blind; where He sees, sight itself is useless.

Although the extreme Personification of Shadow, The Dust of Light does not cast a shadow Himself; instead it is said, that all shadows cast by every thing in Existence is His Shadow.

Despite His nigh omnipotence, The Erebus is so detached from the rest of Creation that it as well be non-interference on a cosmic level; content to sit upon His throne, He prefers to inspire rather than visit.

    Chromsomatic Chirurgeon
As a swift action, The Erebus may force all colour from any entity with a rank less than Him. Those targeted must save on a DC 90 Fort save or anguish under indescribable agony as their very colours are leeched away. The insufferable physical and mental assault is resolved in several ways.
For every colour upon the person, be it innate or through an object, those targeted take physical damage equivalent to a quadruple strength prismatic wall; the damage is untyped and ignores immunity and resistance.
Once robbed of any colour, those affected must continuously save against a DC 90 Will save or become permanently sickened, suffering a -37 morale penalty on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.
Creatures so affected become implausibly phobic, those who interact with the colour, or any variation or derivation thereof, so taken must flee immediately or suffer a prismatic wall effect. Affected are forced to save against a DC 90 Will save or do everything and all in their power to escape this, going so far to attack those even in the slightest bit in their way.
Rank checks fail against this effect; all suffer equally in inequity. There is no known way of negating the damage dealt.

    Darkness Ascendant
The Erebus may force Creation to return to the embracing Darkness that existed before even the Dawn of Existence. The Erebus may saturate an area with such utter darkness that none, not even deities of sight or cosmic entities of light, may see through it; this is a permanent effect. All with a rank less than The Erebus must save against a DC 90 Fort save or suffer permanent blindness and deafness. This consequence is worse than the status effects; those affected cannot perceive the world at all by sight and sound; every thing, even epic and deific magic effects, that is reliant on sight and sound automatically fail.
Rank checks fail against this effect; all suffer equally in inequity.

    Frigid Oblivion
In The Erebus' very presence lingers the immense coldness and desolation at the Origin of Time. All with a rank less than Him must save against a DC 99 Fort save or take 10d6 points of "cold" damage each round; this damage is untyped and thus ignores immunity and resistance. Additionally, all affected are cursed with a permanent slow effect, as even their minds are dulled and struggle with the simplest thoughts; those affected by slow can only take a single move action or standard action every 37 rounds. Nothing grows in The Erebus' wake, everything becomes lifeless and freezing to the touch. The very land within His radius becomes barren.
Rank checks fail against this effect; all suffer equally in inequity. There is no known way of negating the damage dealt.

    Censure of Light
The Erebus' physical presence causes all light to flee from His radius. Torches are automatically extinguished, fires are immediately quelled, even magical illumination withers and dies. He does not supplant the light with darkness; it is a negation, an extinction of heat, of warmth, of light that leaves everything frigidly cold. The Erebus may combine this salient ability with Frigid Oblivion.

    Black Hole
As a standard action, The Erebus may force everything to be drawn into Himself. Nothing within His radius may escape, not even light. In it is not merely darkness, it is the absence of everything and reflects nothing. All with a rank less than The Erebus, even objects, must succeed on a DC 90 Fort save or suffer oblivion; The Erebus Himself is empowered, to the point that He benefits from a +37 bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Success means those targeted suffer damage equal to their HD. Such damage resists healing and cannot be regenerated.

    Starlight Extinction
The Erebus may cause the extinction of the very stars themselves. As a full round action, The Devouring Dark may extinguish the light of suns and orbiting stars. This plunges the accompanying world into Frigid Oblivion, very often causing the annihilation of that world as well.
The darkness that this leaves behind is immense, and contains all the properties of Darkness Ascendant. All spells with the light descriptor or produce light or heat do not work; they immediately fail. All spells that cause a darkness effect are Enhanced, Heightened and Intensified. Additionally, these spells benefit from twelve Multispell effects.
The Erebus usually combines this with Censure of Light.

    Mortality Imposition
As a swift action, The Erebus may induce mortality in lesser creatures. All with a rank 36 or below must succeed on a DC 99 Save or suffer mortality. The DC always targets their weakest Save; all who attempt the save do so at a penalty equal to their rank and cannot roll at all to modify it. Permanency of the condition depends entirely upon The Erebus; those so affected cannot undo it by any means. The Erebus usually imposes mortality in opponents prior to assaulting them with His salient abilities.
