Master Transmogrifist - one very cool PrC... what are some of your favored shapes?

One member of my group uses a Hydra, a Remorhaz, and a Wyvern for his favored forms.
A reoccurring thing with his forms is the question of whether he can eat an enemy, either through the bite attacks of the Hydra or the Remorhaz's swallow whole ability.

One of the monster manuals has the rules for making a custom Chimera.


The vivisector has a decent fly speed, can manipulate tools, looks cool and oh yeah, heals by eating the organs out of living victims .

He can, but what happens when he assumes his normal form is up to DM interpretation.

I'd say that the body you swallowed resizes with you.

I'd say you'd sick up the body mid change.

Hydra variants are excellent for MT, particularly when you use Arcane Strike, then find a way to pile on sneak attack and/or smiting.
