That's funny. I decided to go for Mongrelfolk just for the story - those are the most down-in-the-gutter kind of people in my eyes. And the bloodline was something I added because I have never used those before, something to make it more exotic. I never figured I'd get so many negative reactions to that bloodline.

Yea, Bloodlines in general are a huge cheesy no-no in most cases. They can be abused in so many horrific ways that it's a knee-jerk reaction to react in horror when you see one in a build.

Hmm, I've only had players use them a couple times and never had a problem. Actually kind of liked'em.

They have some severe balance issues, and can easily be broken, leading to them being cheesy in almost every case.

Hmm, how mean should I be for the next challenge? I've found another class that I've never seen used, but on reading it that's because it's significantly more useless than the Entropomancer. Should I believe in your optimisation skills and set it as the secret ingredient, or should I give you guys a break and not be that horrible?

Pfftt, considering bards are amongst my favorite class to mess with, go for whatever it is.

At least make sure there's something unique about the class. I know you have your eye on The Shining Blade of Heironeous, but all it does is emulate weapon enhancements (poorly). This is an example of a PrC I just don't think would be fun to Chef-ify.

Me. Bards are generally considered weak and I like to powerhouse with them. Therefore something even weaker will just be interesting.

They're weak in Core. They got so much support in splat though, that they're really not weak anymore.

I don't mind things that are hard to optimize but they need to be unique. Psibond Agent was great because no other class can do the stuff that it can. Cancer Mage was similar.
