    Default [3.5] Wondering if there's a PrC that meets these requirements.

    1) Has a good Fort save.

    2) Advances Sorcerer casting (advances "any casting class", "any arcane casting class", etc is fine, it just has to be able to advance Sorcerer casting).

    3) The prerequisite can be met with 2 levels of other classes at most (so you can take your first level at level 3).

    Now, I mean, obviously, I doubt such a PrC exists, but I'm just wondering. It's to do with some TO I'm working on.

    Stormcaster PrC from Stormwrack. Is a 9/10 casting progression, with good fort and ref saves, plus some storm-themed bonuses (resistance to electricty, sonic, and some decent stuff). Plus you don't need to take another class, you can get into it with just sorcerer levels.

    If you are in the Pathfinder world, the new Dragon disciple has a good fort and will save, advances spells, and is designed for the Dragon bloodline'd Sorcerer.

    The earliest entry on these is the first level of the class at level 7.

    The only prestige class you can technically, by the book get into @ L3 is the Master specialist... but that is not a sorcerer themed class; methinks it is Wizard only...
    Most DMs would never allow prestige classing before Level 5.

    Funny, I always figured I'd be killed by a paladin.
    So, what you're saying is we rolled a 1 on our credit check?

    Earth Dreamer has Good fort and advances any casting.

    As per your 3rd condition, you're pushing it a bit...

    Well, no. Metaphysical Spellshaper is also enterable with just 2 levels of other classes, and I believe there are others.

    But Metaphysical Spellshaper fails that first requirement - it has a poor Fort save.

    Since its TO, can't you use the dusk giant polymorth abuse to get into a PrC early? Sure, xou need to rely on another casters, but you should be able to pay them back.

    I think Master Specialist is one of the only PrCs you can enter at third level without any shenanigans. That class is, ofcourse, off limits to sorcerers.

    To be honest, with the sorc's slower casting progression I don't think you can find any PrC that fits this requirement. The only thing I can come up with is the Gnome racial paragon class, which gives both good Fort and advances Bard casting at 2nd and 3rd level.

    Unfortunately, Phaerimm don't have their own paragon class (and they shouldn't, given their advancement by HD) and they can't even get into paragon classes via PAO shenanigans, because they're immune to polymorphing.

    Trait Removal from Serpent Kingdoms (Sorc/wiz 5) would deal with the immunity to polymorph.

    It's in the 3rd-party splat Book of Erotic Fantasy, the black sheep of the 3.0 family that no one talks about. Notable for two things; having absolutely nothing to do with sex, erotica, or anything else contained in the book, and for being cheesy on the level of Incantrix and Dweomerkeeper at minimum (its key feature is taking ability damage for free metamagic).

    1=a boat load
    2=a ton
    1&2=still very many
    3=probably more than #1
    1&2&3=probably 60% of 1&2. You just need to know how to get into prestige classes early.
