Map Creation Tool [3.5]
Is there a good program for making fantasy maps? I need something free. I've tried various art programs, but they haven't worked out very well.

I have the absolute best, totally free, program ever made by mankind. It's in the spoiler below.

Shoulda expected it, coming from me. Also, I've heard that GIMP is pretty good for this sorta thing.

You can get pencil and paper for so cheap it's as good as free. I seriously doubt Temotei is gonna be charged for saying "hey, can I borrow a pencil and a sheet of paper?" to his folks or friends or whatever. Originally Posted by Siosilvar

I've downloaded MapMaker (a free program), but haven't had much of a chance to play with it. This forum should have a lot more info on map programs, and mapmaking in general.
