    Default Awesome exotic weapons

    name your faves

got a warblade with exotic weapon focus and am thinking of getting a few +1 aptitude exotics

so what are good exotics, and what are good exotic sidearms for a guisarme wielding tripper?

Haberdash the Masked is built mostly around using exotic weapons and the post includes many good ones. One of my favorites is the Kua-Toa harpoon from MM5 which lets a character keep anyone struck by it on a leash via opposed strength checks.

Great Falchion from Sandstorm. Hit like a Greataxe, crit like a Scimitar.
It's probably not exactly worth it, but criticals are fun.

They sure are. If you feel like dual-wielding reach weapons, ask your DM if you can use the kusari-gama (DMG, page 145).

Oh and +1 for the kusari-gama: a reach weapon that can be used against adjacent foes, trip, and disarm.
Suppose you start your game in a tavern that is circular and evenly lit. Where do the PCs sit?

Rope-Dart from Dragon Magazine. 10 foot reach, usable with Flurry, comes in Bludgeoning & Piercing versions, usable in close range.

For extra goodness, make Large & give to Half-Ogre Monk. :D

Kratos' weapons exist in a dragon Mag.

    Bolas
Harpoons (Most Funnest ranged weapon EVER! Enchant it with returning to piss of any DM ^_^)
*Jawed Maul (The love child of a Maul and a bear trap. Causes bleeding damage)
**Fleshcleaver (a weapon so brutal, if you sunder the armor, you'll do extra damage)
**Whip-sword (Ever see Brotherhood of the Wolf? That sword)
**Wallblade (A seven foot long, foot and a half wide blade. Can't use it without power attacking)

    *Ultimate Equipment Guide Vol. 1
    ** Quintessential Fighter II

    AH! I forgot these ones:

    Alchemy Blade
    Spear Spikeard
    War Spikeard

Hmm... I wonder if these can hold "ammo friendly" enchantments. Like the loading ones for crossbows?

For reach damage I like the greatspear 2d6,x3 10ft range increment
or the heavy poleaxe 2d6, x3, no throwing but slashing.

Heavy poleaxe is in my opinion the best possible weapon against zombies, that goes triple if you have knockdown. Shotguns aint got nothing on this.

For range under 6 bab, elven double bow. Free double shot at -2 for 1000gp

    1 handed dmgoutput: warmace 1d12, x2 bludge

Gnome quickrazors. Sure, it only does 1d4 damage, but you can draw and sheathe it as a free action every time you attack.

Whats that, Iaijustu Focus? You can make gnome quickrazors into absolute beasts? Why yes. Yes you can.

Historically, and I think D&D-cally too, lucerne hammer is something that's by definition both poky and bashy.
