Well, this area is called the Nexus. It is a sort of crossroads. A spot where many dimensions meet.

I am not sure. People tend to arrive here different ways. I came on a scouting mission for my people.

Kirana and Mikani channel their attacks into the sphere, unleashing beams of gold and blue-white light that twine around each other in a double helix as the ground rumbles underfoot.

"EARTH-SHAKING SOLAR LOVE BUSTER CALL!"

As the attack hits, the battlefield is suddenly shrouded in thick clouds of dust spreading from the point of impact.

Then when the dust clears, Tamesis is sprawled on the ground, battered and barely conscious, her sceptre flung from her outstretched hand.

Kirana goes over to her and kneels down, offering a hand as Tamesis's eyes flutter open. "We don't have to be enemies. Let's be friends. ... I've always wanted a sister." She smiles.

Tamesis looks at the offered hand, up to Kirana's face, and her emotionless mask, already cracked, breaks completely, and she dissolves into tears.

Mikani crosses over to stand next to Kirana, and smiles a little, looking worried for their...former enemy?
Not sure what to say, she stays quiet for a long moment.
"I'd like to be friends..."

Abigail nods. No reason we can't be friends!

After all, Defeat means Friendship!

Steam hisses out of Rising Guardian.

Kirana hugs Tamesis carefully. "She's hurt. We need to get her to the infirmary."

"Mommy can fix her up!" Jamie - changing back from Mikani - nods and turns to lead the way there. C'mon!"

"I can do it," Kirana says, and follows Jamie to the infirmary, carrying Tamesis.

Charity and Edijar are driving towards GLoG together in (I think) an APC while Charity tells him about her sister.

"I don't know if you ever heard about the Apocacon. This monster named Reinholdt gathered people together, and then spread a gas that erased everyone's mental abilities. My sister Sunny was there." She hesitates, fighting to keep from breaking down. "You can imagine what a mob of people will do if they suddenly have nothing but animal appetites, but without even the structure of an animal pack to keep them in line."

[Outside main lodge]

Marley, steps the area in front of the main lodge.

"At least things are quiet here. Other than the ghosts. Well, I'm alive, and no one's out to destroy the world, so things are good."

[Road to GLoG]

Edijar's knuckles turn white as he grips the steering wheel. "I think I can imagine." He's seen the worst people can do many times. It wasn't too difficult to imagine what happened. Once he calms down enough to take her hand, he gives it a bit of a squeeze. "I'm sorry to hear that. How is she?" He's wearing a simple black uniform, with the symbol of the Empire on his shoulder. While he isn't wearing his powerarmor, he's still armed with his blade and pistol.

[The Road]

"Physically, fine. Mentally... the antidote didn't work completely. In some ways, she still has the mind of a child. Emotionally - that's the problem. She didn't have had a mind when it happened -- didn't have any vocabulary to explain to herself what was going on. She was left with pretty severe post traumatic stress and it doesn't take much to trigger a panic attack. Don't touch her and as much as you can, don't touch me either. She knows that men and women can have consensual contact, but it still makes her very uncomfortable."

Charity and Edijar should be pulling up at the campground about now.

Inside the Main Lodge, Sunny is in the kitchen, taking apart and rebuilding the freezer while she waits for her sister. As ever, IZK-alpha is her loyal escort.

Marley leans the broom against the wall, and grabs his cane.

"Well, its been a while since someone drove here."

By the Front Gate

There is a girl sitting cross-legged by the side of the road. The girl appears to be about eight or nine, and she has black hair and green eyes. She is wearing a denim dress and a red rucksack. In her hands is a teddybear.

Edijar nods. "I understand." he says, removing his hand as the APC(unarmed) comes to a halt. He steps out and gives a glance around. "You sure nothing will happen while I'm here?" The Commander whispers to Charity.

[Near Main Lodge]

The girl may see Charity and Edijar getting out of the APC.

"I can't be sure, no. But you're probably in less danger here than--"

She is interrupted when a ghost dwarf suddenly manifests directly in front of Edijar. "And who do you think you are?"

Charity facepalms. She had forgotten to warn him about the ghosts.

[Outside Main Lodge]

Marley sighs as the ghost appears. Well, it probabily would be a good idea to let Sunny know her sister is here. He goes inside the main lodge.

"Sunny, are you in here?"

[Near Main Lodge]

His hand slips right to the blade at his side on instinct, but he keeps himself from drawing it when his mind realizes what it is. He's seen a few, but not quite this close. "Edijar. Commander of the Inside Riot and Pacification units. You?"

[Earl of Purple]

The eight-nine year-old waves at Charity and Edijar. She does not, however, stand up and soon goes back to staring out at the road.

Jamie throws the door opens for Kirana, carrying Tamensis, and Abigail, and rushes in, calling for Quinn...
After a brief reassurance that she's OK, Quinn turns away from her deadtimed paitents and hurries over. "What happened to her?"

The girl sitting by the gate staring down the drive DEADTIMES.

"Oh, um..." Sunny looks up, her face smudged with grease. "Does she have that... man... with her?"

"Ironbeard of Phoenix Lake," the ghost dwarf says. "And I want you to know whatever you arrested Miss Evans for, she didn't do it. She was with me, if you know what I mean."
