Default Quick question regarding Spell Focus

Does a Spell Focus feat apply only to spells granted by classes, or to spell-like abilities as well?

I would say "no." More specifically, spell-like abilities are like spells, but they are not spells. Therefore, spell focus doesn't apply.

Ability Focus is generally better anyway. +2 vs +1, but the +2 is more...err...focused. Can only be used on one Spell-Like at a time. However, when you stop to think about abilities with multiple uses, like...say...the factotum's arcane dilettante ability...

I don't see why it wouldn't apply it to them. "They function just like the spell of that name." Well, the spell of that name would get a boost; so should the SLA.
