Improved Grab on AoO
Can a character use improved grab and rake when attacking as a standard action, or making an attack of opportunity?
Scenario: A druid PC is polymorphed into dire tiger form. An enemy moves away from him. The druid uses his bite as an attack of opportunity, hits, initiates a grapple, and follows up with two rakes. His opponent took three hits and is now grappled. That's one heck of an opportunity attack! Legit?Subclasses for 5E: magus of blades, shadowcraft assassin, spellthief, void disciple
Guides for 5E: Practical fiend-binding
D&D Remix for 3.x: balanced base classes and feats, all in the authentic flavor of the originals. Most popular: monk and fighter.

Re: Improved Grab on AoO
No, he can only use rake attacks when he charges + pounces, or takes a full attack action. The note about using them in a grapple is there because otherwise you're normally limited to attacking with one weapon (a bite or claw usually) when grappling regardless of how many you have.
