    Default LA for a nonstandard race

    So, one of my players for a campaign of mine wants to play a Greensnake Naga from Oriental Adventures, but I'm not sure how much LA I should give the race. Savage Species seems a bit off in it's calculations to me, but what do you all think?

    I have a dim memory of them being +1 LA in the 3.5 reprint, but don't quote me on that. They're a bit strong for just +1, but meh, humans and whisper gnomes are +0…
