No, I haven't. He takes a seat and relaxes. Ooh boy, I've been walking literally nonstop the last full week... I think it was a week, the days all kind of blurred together. I hope it hasn't been a few years since I was last home or anything... He sort of mumbles to himself at the end, there.

"You've been away for awhile then?" she asks, trying to make conversation as the shuttle launches. "I kinda went walkabout myself o-once."

Frankly, dear, I'm not sure I trust you. See, the whole reason I was out walking home through the wilderness for a month was because the Erin I knew kidnapped me, and brought me to her cabin in the middle of nowhere. She was going to use me as her sex slave or something equally horrible, until I stabbed her with a ghost touch knife and ran off.
Technically, he's absolutely correct. He just skips over some of the stuff in the middle.

Erin looks back, still blushing, and giggles. "T-thanks. But, um, I kinda only like girls. Sorry. You're good-looking and a-all, b-but, yeah. Also, taken."

The shuttle vibrates slightly as it passes through the wake of a megawhale.
