Wow. Updated right as I was reading it. And it is true, nothing can compare to a dinosaur ride.

At first I read 'filth wife' and I wondered why Haley was reacting so well :)...

Anyway, I seriously hope Haley is just paranoid, I'd hate to see Tarquin betray them, however I am eager to see something related to Girard happen

I like how his Lawful alignment is reflected in the way that he womanizes: he marries each one in turn, legally and by-the-book, then divorces them in an orderly fashion when it's time to move on.

At least, I hope he divorced them...

Interesting question, what is the exact divorce procedure in the Empire of Blood? Probably something innocent...

Well, either way, the part where he marries them instead of just sleeping with them is nice and Lawful. I guess the manner of disposing of the marriage would fall more under the second part of his alignment.

I like how the comic, despite being set in a world with an alignment system that often creates ridiculous situations, manages to portray a character who's goofy and likeable while still possibly being evil in a very real way (other than the "I'm evil because my alignment says so" that occasionally happens in D&D).

I'm really curious how Tarquin's evilness will manifest, although I'm already hopeful for something interestingly written, not over-the-top "now I'll do evil stuffs" manner.

...I mean, we have Xykon for that ;).

    Indeed.

But, since three people have suspected it already in first page of the thread, and the Giant hates to be so obvious, I suppose we can declare that "wife murderer" hypotesis officially busted.

Well, he divorced Elan's mother in a legal and non-beheading kind of way. Mind you, Henry VIII went for variety; divorced, beheaded, died etc.

Also: Yay for "defenestration", possibly my favourite word in the English language.
