[Dark Heresy] Income and starting at higher experience

In Dark Heresy, is there anywhere where it says how much income a character starting at higher than the standard should get? If you're starting a game with all the characters already more experienced than the standard spod, or if you're bringing a character into a game when everyone else has experienced characters so you're being given the same level of XP, how much XP equals how long?

I have a memory that it's stated somewhere in the books, but I can't for the life of me find it.
