    Description: A rugged looking young man of apparent Nordic decent. Has what some might consider an attractively masculine jaw line. Though others might say it makes his face seem slightly to “long” to be truly “handsome”. He sports a constant 5 o’clock shadow that would perhaps be more noticeable if his facial hair did not seem to be a pale blond. His narrow eyes have an inquisitive gleam in them that stands out against the pale blue of his irises. His long dirty blond hair sprout’s from a slightly receding hairline that forms a widow’s peak over his forehead. His hair itself reaches the middle of his back and is slicked and tied back in a single tail by a worn leather band. His skin tone is pale but seems to have a “worn” quality to it that one usually associates with those who’s professions keep them outdoors for prolong periods of time such a sailors, farmers and loggers.

    His build is lean and tall standing about 6ft 2inches tall and weight’s around 230 pounds. While he lacks the obviously strength oriented frame of a bodybuilder his musculature is well developed in an “athletic” build that one sees on parkour traceur’s. Elijah’s usual attire scream’s functionality over style. He wears hiking boots and short fingered leather gloves over his hands and feet. A pair of well worn, coarse grained navy jeans and a plain deep green T-Shirt cover his legs and torso. His only fashion indulgences seem to be the black soft leather jacket that he wears over his T-shirt and a small bone carved trinket secured on a leather cord around his neck. He seems to have the scent of tree bark and mist about him.

    In his other forms Elijah looks markedly different.

    His near-human or “Dalu” form looks similar to his normal human aspect with a few changes. Firstly he grows about a foot and gains around 50 pounds of mass, becoming boarder and more heavy set. His facial features take on a more angular and lupine, his iris colour shifts towards an amber gold. His finger nails elongate and grow thinker into rudimentary claws and all his facial and body hair thickens up and becomes a more pure blond.

    His near-wolf or “Urshul” form appears as a huge wolf with fur the colour of ripe wheat corn. In this form he stands at 4 feet at the shoulder and is about 7 feet long from snout to tail.

    His pure wolf or “urhan” form appears as a perfectly normal wolf with slightly lighter coloured blond fur.

    His wolf-man/war-form or “Gauru” form he stands at around 8ft 6inches and weights around 550 pounds. In this form wicket claws sprout from his hands and the lupine features that his face takes on are exaggerated with a large snout and rending fangs. In this form he maintains a bipedal mode of transport but can run and jump well beyond human ability, he likewise retains opposable thumbs. His fur in this form is the same as his Urshul form.


    Personality: Elijah has a somewhat stoic manner that makes him seem a little stand offish. He does not suffer fools and some have said he has a short fuse, though he is as quick to forgive as he is to anger. He likes to play dumb so others underestimate him; it’s easier to trick them that way. He has many acquaintances and associates but few friends; once you have won his loyalty he will go any distance for you. His worldview is one which tries to reduce everything, be it a problem or school of thought down to its most simple components. He likes to smoke cigars but has no other real vices.

    Equipment: Apart from the clothes on his back Elijah carries little in the way of equipment. A box of matches, a ten pack of cigars, a wristwatch, his wallet with cash, cards and id in. A couple small leather pouches with certain ritual ingredients in e.g. rock shards, herbs or small animal bones or feathers. The one weapon of note is a bowie knife that is strapped to the back of his belt under his jacket. It has some odd script carved into it and looks slightly antique. It's a fetish (an item with a spirit trapped in) which has a elemental (stone) spirit trapped in it. This makes the blade unnaturally strong and sharp and allows the knife to cut insubstantial creatures such as ghosts and spirits.

    Abilities: As a Uratha gives Elijah access to a great many supernatural abilities. These abilities can be divided into three categories: Innate, Gifts and Rites.

    A werewolf’s innate abilities are as follows:-

    They can shape shift as detailed above in the “description” section. They regenerate damage much quicker than normal humans and by spending some of the magical resource they harvest (Essence) they can heal damage almost instantaneously. They have a supernatural resistance to toxins and diseases that means they are hard to intoxicate and immune mundane diseases. They can sense, see and talk to spirits (animistic personifications of different things in the world e.g. a spirit of fear or the spirit of a house). They have in their non human forms a supernatural sense of smell, hearing and taste. They live longer than humans with the oldest werewolves reaching about 150 years old before dying.

    They take horrible damage from silver weapons and have a slight aversion to silver full stop.

    Gifts are supernatural abilities gifted to werewolves by spirits the older and more accomplished the werewolf the more gifts they are likely to have. Elijah’s primary function is a stalker, spy and scout though he also stands vigil over certain areas of territory. As such his gifts are focused on stealth, intuition, tracking and sudden attack.

    Elijah's has five Gift “paths” each of which has 1-5 levels with one power at each level:-

    Evasion Gifts:-
    1.) Allows him to make people open up in conversation and more likely to blab secrets.
    2.) Make it hard to notice or remember his presence in a room or at a meeting.
    3.) Fake his own death for up to a period of 24 hours if needed.
    4.) Can supernaturally become aware of physical attempts to deceive or mislead e.g. hiding evidence or mislead people following a trail. He cannot pick up on social deception this way however.

    Nature Gifts:-
    1.) Can speak with animals.

    New Moon Gifts:-
    1.) Elijah can sense a person’s weakness or main character flaw e.g. derangements, major vice or physical flaw e.g. lame or blind.
    2.) He can escape mundane bonds or another’s grasp.
    3.) Can cause slight visual hallucinations to distract opponents from his activities in a fight.
    4.) Appear to naturally “fit in” to whatever location he is located in, seeming unimportant and uninteresting.

    Stalker Gifts:-

    1.) Can see perfectly in natural darkness even in normal human form.
    2.) Always knows where he is exactly and how to get back “home” from that location as long as he can look at the night sky.
    3.) Can sense other supernatural being nearby through his sense of smell, each gives off a unique sent so distinctions can be made.
    4.) Can walk into any natural occurring shadow and emerge from another anywhere within 20-100 yards away.
    5.) Summon a pack of 3 “shadow” wolves to aid him for up to a minute before returning back to the shadows.

    Stealth Gifts:-
    1.) Can become almost impossible to track through scent.
    2.) As long as he stays still he can supernaturally “blend” into his surrounding environment appearing as a landscape feature. So in a bar he may appear as a broken bar stool in a corner as opposed to a person.
    3.) Can move at any speed (even a sprint) while not making any sound or drawing attention to his movement.
    4.) Can turn into a living shadow as long as adequate shadows are available and maintain that form as long as enough shadow coverage lasts. Becomes partially insubstantial and 2D so can fit under doors and through key-holes, cannot really interact with the 3D world however e.g. attack people or pick up objects.
    5.) Can become invisible to all visual senses e.g. eye’s, camera’s, heat sensors and motion detectors. Does remain physical however and can be tracked using other senses e.g. scent, sound and touch.


    Rites are magical invocations to spirits to produce a certain result e.g. swearing binding oaths or setting up wards and such. Rites unlike gifts always require time to prepare and enact and most usually require particular ritual trappings e.g circles of salt and such. In Uratha culture rituals are usually learned by those werewolves seeking to become mystics however some smaller rites are usually taught to normal pack members as well.

    Elijah has eight rites which he has picked up in his five decades as a Uratha have particular affects, usually for ease of living or to do with his job. All rites are ranked in power from 1-5.

    (Rank 1) Banish Human:- Forces a human out of the spirit world.
    (Rank 1) Preserving the Trail:- Keeps a scent trail fresh for the ritual caster for a lunar month.
    (Rank 1) Rite of Dedication:- Means that the werewolves personal belongings turn to essence when they shapeshift.
    (Rank 1) Rite of Fair Warning:- Warns new werewolves they have entered another’s territory.
    (Rank 2) Banish Spirit:- Forces a spirit out of the physical world.
    (Rank 2) Blessing of the Spirit Hunt:- Allows a werewolf to physically harm spirit in the physical world.
    (Rank 2) Call Gafaing:- Summons a weak, minor spirit to the werewolf.
    (Rank 2) Rite of the Hunters Howl:- Gives the hunter of hunters involved in the ritual an energy boost and supernaturally bolsters their resolve before the hunt begins.


    Backstory: Elijah was born in 1934 in St Andrews Scotland. The son of a British Army Major Michael Talbot and his wife Gabriella Talbot the governess of the local school. Before WW2 occurred they had planned to move down to London for better prospects. However with the onset of the war the family remained in Scotland until 1949. After which his family moved to Kent in South England. Were his parents remained for the rest of their day's.

    Elijah himself was a boy of contrasts, he was brave but sneaky (though some called him cunning), he was a loner despite being on many of the schools committees and athletic teams, he was confident in his opinions and views and yet shy to express anything personal about himself. He was always the “quite one” in any group activity or committee meeting; he would just sit there almost forgotten and listen to the things said, working them out in his head, and fading into the background until he was ignored. He was always the odd one out and the one that fell into the backdrop, making things work but taking none of the credit.

    Entering his mid teens he felt directionless, as with most things in his life he felt that solutions were simple once you could properly figure out the problem. His problem was that he could not figure out the problem of his life and what to do with it. He eventually decided (largely due to family trips back up to Scotland) that he enjoyed the great outdoors and mountaineering and wanted to pursue a career that would allow him to interact with such an environment on a day to day basis.

    At aged 16 while out camping during one such family holiday he experienced his “first change” into a werewolf. It was an experience he could make neither head nor tails of for over a month after it happened and he often wondered if he had dreamed the whole thing. It was only the shredded tent and the fact he had woken up naked a mile from his campsite that made Elijah sure that the strange events of that night occurred. The change made him feel more confident though and his shyness melted away in the following month. Though the odd whispers and occurrences that happened around him after that point often put him ill at ease and made him miss more than one night’s worth of sleep.

    A month and a half after his change he ran into the group of people that would become his pack for the next 50 years while back in Kent. They explained to him his nature and his responsibilities and initiated him into their culture. It came as no surprise to him when they explained he was Irraka a werewolf who first changed under the new moon, traditionally the stalkers, fixers and spies of werewolf society. He naturally gravitated towards a werewolf sect called “The Hunters in Darkness”, whose roll it was to maintain and protect the natural cycles of the physical and spirit worlds and to look after important items, place and people.

    Alias: The Nullifier.

    Class/Profession: Psychiatric Doctor

    Description: An old man with a slight limp, he uses a cane to get around. Pretty decent looking for his age, though certainly won't win a lookers competition. His friendly smile does more to light up his face than his actual features do. His almost completely white hair that contrast with his dark blue eyes. Doctor Stroffelnburg is always immaculately dressed in his labcoat and white pants and white shoes. Perhaps the only things that aren't white are his cane and his tie.

    Personality: A generally friendly and polite person, Doctor Stroffelnburg dreams of a cured Nexus. He is however, quite serious about his work.

    Equipment: Has his own psychiatric hospital which has quite a few specialized instruments to use to help achieve his goals. The hospital sits in a null zone that seems to mess with scrying, telepathy, electronics, and other long range communications.

    Abilities: He's a skilled psychiatric doctor with a bit of a forceful bent. He's also a strong nullifier. Eldritch blasts of doom roll right off him. Telepathy gathers no insight into his mind. Super speed is suddenly matched by Doctor Stroffelnburg moving just as fast. Shift into a bear and claw him and his skin hardens to the point where it's just like humans clawed into him. Of course, this means he's vulnerable to conventional weaponry or anything that could reasonable exist in a 'normal' world. He's no fighter, so punches, knives, and guns can all take him out quickly without much resistance.

    Furthermore, he has the ability to give these abilities to others through complicated brain surgery. However, it comes with a price, stripping the person of any other abilities they may have had, as well as their ability to see anything but a 'normal world'. People all look human, and though some of them have strange conditions, others just translate straight from what they are to normal humans. For instance, goblins are seen as midgets in the conventional modern day use of the word, while orcs just look like the person you passed in the street. It is this belief that holds together the nullifying powers. Should the belief be lost and the person slip back into the Nexus Insanity, they revert, losing their ability to nullify. The surgery can also be reversed by a talented brain surgeon who has knowledge the procedure that Doctor Stroffelnburg used.

    Backstory: Not available at this time.

    Miscellaneous: Believes the world to be a normal place and the people in the Nexus to be suffering from Nexus Insanity. He aims to cure them and reintegrate them into a functioning society. The scary thing is, based on his inexplicable abilities and beliefs, he might actually be right.

    Description: Orderlies dressed entirely in white. They come in groups of threes. Each of them look exactly the same, barring their faces. One of the three only has eyes, one only ears, and one only a mouth. How the first two breathe is a mystery to even me.

    Personality: Fairly bland personality wise, they seem to have a fanaticism for working as minions for Doctor Stroffelnburg. They're never seen separate, always working in threes so all their senses are covered. Or maybe they're just really best buds.

    Equipment: Often drive white unmarked vans, carry a variety of sedatives for injection, carry nightsticks, tasers, and the occasional straight jacket.

    Abilities: Have a psychic connection to the two others in their group that allows them to sense what their compatriots are sensing, so long as they remain close together. In other words, Ears and Mouth see what Eyes see, Mouth and Eyes hear what Ears hears, and Eyes and Ears speak through Mouth. For most intents and purposes they are as one, though they can be separated and as a result, blinded or deafened or unable to eat.

    Backstory: Not available at this time.

    Miscellaneous: Nullified people see these orderly groups as single persons. These groups themselves are NOT nullified, and therefore vulnerable to all things as normal.

    Description: If there's any way to describe her, I'd have to say that she puts the UGH in Fugly. She's a spindly old bat, frequently seen hunched over. Large, baggy brown robes covers much of her features, but her piercing blue eyes and crooked nose say enough.

    Personality: Probably a grumpy old thing. Or maybe makes cookies for people before assassinating them. I'm really not sure yet. One of those, play it out and see characters. She definitely has a distinguished air about her though.

    Equipment: A variety of Power Orbs.

    Created when someone gives up either certain powers, or memories, or emotions. See below. They enable a person to temporarily borrow those powers, memories, etc. for a limited period of time.

    Abilities: She can remove people's powers, memories, emotions, etc and turn them into Power Orbs. This can be done forcefully, but takes a huge deal of effort on her part and tends to be resistible means she only attempts this as an absolute last ditch effort to escape a deadly situation. As a result, Anya usually only uses this ability on the willing, and often does so as part of deals she barters. The source of this ability is an ancient necklace, something she conceals under her baggy clothing, making it almost impossible to see without x-ray vision or something similar.

Only four digits on each limb. Long strong neck. Some clockwork on the inside. Clothes made of woven grass and clouds, with a an armored coat decorated with green-dyed feathers over it. A pair of swords are crossed on hir back, one with a feathered tuft at the pommel, the other with a handle that was visibly broken and repaired.
    The clawmark scars on hir left forearm have healed with hir new skin.
    Personality: Alexil is curious and full of questions. The Nexus and its myriad people are so different from hir world that even after all this time shi's not used to us. Never gonna give up. Nothing's gonna keep hir down. Would make you cry, would say goodbye, but would not tell a lie and hurt you.

    Bonewraith Skull - A small skull, worn on a cord off the right side of hir belt, this makes all the user's attacks more damaging and drains away the energy/magic of the opponent.
    Periapt of True Sight - A small blue glass in an intricate bronze frame, this grants the person who looks through it a true seeing effect for up to one hour per day. Chevin wears it as a necklace.
    Shadow Dust - Ground up shadows in a vial.
    Potion of Sexual Orientation Bending - 'Useful for seducing Moffs'. Might find a use for this someday.
    One antimagic grenade, three regular shrapnel grenades.

    Pulling things at a distance, or pulling hirself to them if they're more massive.
    Backstory: One day, flying home, Chevin was caught out in a sudden storm. In a flash of lightning(?) the airship was transitioned to a blue sky over a world vast without end: the Nexus. What happened before that - is anything left of that young one?
    Shi made a living weaving clouds, and hir free time hanging around HALO, where wanderings eventually led to claiming a flying island as home. One day shi read something very wrong, and went to a bad bad place, and listened. All the wrongdoing that was, had been, and ever would be poured into hir mind. Burning Winds was released from its Hold, and shi fled from the hounds of the sand, barely making it back to the airship alive. From that day on, the obsession took hold. Separation enforced by partial union. The ends justified the means. Fought alongside Wenomir in the Hunting Grounds, and dueled other seekers in contact points, sabotaging their quests.
    A criminal assembled a team of misfits to become supervillain minibosses as part of a plot to overthrow Inside conquer Riverside destroy Skyside just cause whatever havoc they could. It provided an opportunity. Alexil accepted the offer, receiving the Archangel Armor. Shi destroyed the group from the inside, revealing their potential treacheries, breaking up their families, and turning them against each other until nothing was left. In a brief moment of lucidity, shi wondered if hir methods might be wrong, and sought guidance from the small religions of the Nexus (as the moon here was small and queer, unworthy of reverence), including the Temple of Inari. Malukhar shattered the bonds on hir mind and awoke the sword as a true and dedicated servant of Separation. In return, he just wanted a small favor. So began a quest to challenge an ancient elven empire and the sun itself to recover the Hammer of Creation, during which Alexil was driven mad, banished to the elemental planes, found a cute pet, had hir clothes destroyed by a vengeful god, and learned old techniques of statuemaking. If Winds had not led an expedition into the Caverns of Elemental Earth, shi would have been lost forever.
    Alexil settled into a happy life living on the island with Winds, weaving cloudstuff, and occasionally going to fight evil or create good. Shi challenged a young witch in the skies above Skyside, destroyed an evil cult of human sacrifice, ventured into the dreamlands to end a faerie incursion, descended into the underdark to rescue an Old One, fought robo-vampires preying on the poor. Not to mention other smaller adventures. Just hero stuff.
    Then one day, while visiting a craft guild in Skyside, a monster caught up, boiled hir eyes out of hir skull, and rebuilt Alexil as a biomechanical creature of living mithril: pistons and impellers, cams and gears. Shi was so dense and heavy as to be unable to fly until getting the suit upgraded.

    Riverside Ring - This crude brass ring, set with a piece of blood-red glass, causes the wearer's hair to form dreadlocks.
    Bracelet of Shortening - A band of woven wires that causes a 1-time loss of 6 inches of height, down to a minimum of 3 feet.
    Golden Inca Mask - Turns the wearer a solid gold color and lets them see magical effects, with different types appearing as different colors.

    Breaker Knife - Able to cut through any non-living thing easily.
    Hunting Sword - A curved longsword, shaped from a single long bone, wrapped with leather to form a handle. When its wielder wills, seeps a powerful flesh-dissolving acid.

    Description: Alex has no fixed form, and has forgotten what it used to look like. It tends to go for tall and beautifully androgynous, with very pale skin, and weird but alluring bone protrusions. Hot in the same way a daemonette is.

    Personality: Alex has lived for 1000 odd years, and seen nearly everything. It stopped thinking like a human 7-800 years ago. It stopped thinking like a vampire 3-400 years ago. It is becoming more bored and apathetic over time, and constantly seeks for something new to entertain it. Recently it decided that being an assassin with rules and a code of conduct may be more entertaining than wanton mass murder. It is a sado-masochist, as all ancient hedonists are wont to become. It tends towards emotional dead outside of hurting, fleshsculpting, and killing things. It considers itself an artist.

    Equipment: Wealth.

    Abilities: Now we're talking! Three parts here.

    (Vampiric condition:) Alex operates under Vampire the Masquerade rules, modified to be more NEXUS friendly. It is essentially immortal and unaging unless something kills it. It is burned by sunlight and fire, and feels a deep urge to flee the later. It can improve its physical capabilities at will. A stake through the heart will paralyse it until the wood is removed. However, all of it's other organs and bodily processes are vestigial. When it rests, it appears as a corpse, and must sleep in soil of it's native land. Antagonising it too much may cause it to flip out and frenzy.

    (Disciplines:) In mechanical terms, Alex has around 6-7 in Vicissitude, 5 Dominate, 4 Auspex, 4 Animalism, 3 Potence, 3 Fortitude, 3 Celerity, 2 Obfuscate, and possibly others. In order, this means:

    Vicissitude: Gives powerful flesh and bonecrafting, on itself and others. other than simply manipulating form, provides a winged warform, the ability to turn into a sentient mass of vitae, acidic blood (alien style), and the ability to gift someone with a sort of degenerative flesh rot.

    Dominate: Gives mind control effectively, up to including complex conditioning and possession. Requires Eye contact

    Auspex: Gives massively heightened senses, aura perception, limited divination, and telepathy

    Animalism: Control over beasts. Gives the ability to speak to, control, summon, and possess animals.

    Celerity: Supernatural quickness

    Fortitude: Supernatural endurance

    Obfuscate: Gives the ability to become unnoticeable while not attaracting attention

He can also alter The Code, changing his own appearance and the world around him to better suit his needs. He has, however, taken a vow not to alter another person's Code directly. Something about glitches.

    Weaknesses - Often overlooks details that seem obvious to others.

    Characteristics – Appears and disappears when and where he desires, seemingly at random. Yet he always takes his job seriously, even if it doesn't seem like it to those around him.

    Description: Quite handsome, in a not ridiculously handsome way. Wears his brown hair in a ponytail and pays more attention to his looks than he lets on. Edgar always wears a red jacket with gold embroidery over a chainmail shirt, as well as a ripped up pair of jeans.

    Equipment: Bandoleer of knives and daggers, most of which are enchanted, AK-47 with grenade launcher attachment, heavily enchanted saber and .44 magnum. Also carries a ragged belt pouch containing money and various items, including a journal containing hundreds of lifetimes worth of knowledge.

    Abilities: having had a truly, incredibly, mind-blowingly massive amount of time to learn he has picked up a ridiculous amount of skills, although he isn't necessarily good at all of them (if he cooks pancakes he's trying to kill you). Mainly good at thieving and assassination skills, a decent minstrel and excellent with a blade

    Backstory: Edgar's original life was that of a thief, before being recruited by the assassins of his home-world. As it turned out, he was not only a exceptional assassin, but almost inhumanly good at it. After a unintentional (and unsuccessful) assassination attempt on a god, he was made an Eternal Champion, meaning he would endlessly reincarnate, in order to fight the forces of evil and bla bla bla. Long story short, he succeeded, making him one of the almost microscopic list of Eternal Champions who actually put their enemy down for good. Sadly however, this did not mean he stopped reincarnating, leaving him with an eternity on his hand and nothing to do with it. Long story short, after spending a countless amount of years doing everything he can to keep himself occupied, Edgar has reincarnated in the Nexus, and is looking for any kind of work he can get.

    Physical Description:

    Magtok is a cyborg, a man with half his body composed of prosthetics. He uses a purple set of hooded robes as his costume, possesses a self-inflicted scar over one eye, and had the other replaced with an infrared prosthetic. More often than not, due to the design of the robes and the electromagnetic device built into his spine, Magtok decides legs aren't really necessary, and simply hovers around without them.

    Equipment and Abilities: Magtok has access to a wide range of firearms and laser weaponry, as well as other fancy gadgets and gizmos. Whether he can actually use any of this equipment is a matter of opinion. However, because Mag's fully aware of how pathetically useless and prone to danger he's built himself a series of cloning vats in his home, which keep him from permanently kicking the bucket, at the cost of his clones being entirely soul-less abominations, hated by death gods and celestial beings in charge of various afterlives.

    Personality: Magtok is an eccentric genius, a sociopath, a coward, and a clown. He'll happily dress up like a 30s-era gangster and rob banks with a modified laser-blasting Tommy gun, shamelessly beg a hero for mercy and then stab them in the throat, confidently stride into a lab to steal valuable cloning research whilst followed by marching band of Magbots armed with plasma-firing trumpets and trombone rifles, and pathetically run away screaming at the top of his lungs if he's clearly outmatched. While he doesn't care much for others, he won't kill unless he feels it's necessary, a matter of revenge, or if it'd look really cool. A long history of abuse has left him with a compulsion to try to be respected and adored by everyone, whilst simultaneously causing him to push people away and isolate himself from any sort of emotional attachments.

    History: While little is known of the cyborg's history, records of conversations with several therapists, former hostages, and the occasional goon hired for his "projects" paint an interesting picture. Magtok alledges that when he was born, a black cat fell on his internet-literate mother, prompting her to shout "OMG, KAT!", just as she was being asked to provide a name for her newborn child, which led to being ostracized and teased as a child until he snapped, made an anagram of his old name, and turned to villainy.

    Several other accounts make mention of an alcoholic ex-cop father and a prostitute mother who'd frequently get into arguments over which of them was the worse stereotypical angsty backstory parent. Another tale suggests that he was a secret government research project that escaped and destroyed the secret base he was born in like in countless other stereotypical lab experiment backstories, but the general lack of government agents out to get him, shortage of hookers or ex-cops who can pass a paternity test, and the fact that no records exist of a child being named OMG KAT suggest each and every one of his backstory claims are silly lies to cover up whatever uncomfortable truths he doesn't want people to know about.

    In all seriousness though, Magtok's got a long history, mostly due to being RPed for several years now in this section of the forum. While I could easily go on for hours typing up his history with AMEN, fighting the TDI, being assaulted by Idiotarum, fighting with Cal and Reinholdt and GLoG, and everything else that he's done here on this forum, I'm not going to, as that'd be boring and more trouble than it's worth. So , you'll just have to piece it together IC.

    Description: Maxios is a white male with shoulder-length brown hair (to get the exact idea of how his hair looks like, look at Omnitopia: The Playground) and blood red eyes (bright yellow without the demon trapped in his soul). He's 5'9 and is 178 pounds. He has somewhat big feet, and has a trick thumb. Most of the time, he wears a black leather jacket over a White Lantern Uniform. The other part of the time, if he wants to be stealthy, he wears clunky and rusted Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor***.

    Personality: Maxios, for the most part, is sarcastic and has a short temper (making diplomacy extremely hard). He's also quick to come up with stupid loopholes. Maxios is also foolhardy to an extreme; and even if outnumbered a million-to-one in battle against unbeatable foes, he would not surrender.

    Equipment: Maxios almost always carries a Halo-brand energy sword, a flashlight, an IPhone 4000 (really just a IPhone 4 that Maxios scribbled three zeroes onto), and a White Power Ring.

    Abilities: Maxios has a strange disease that prevents him from feeling pain. He won't even know he's really injured unless he passes out. As such, he tends to believe he's invincible and has made up a story about a magical artifact that granted him this ability. Maxios is also fairly agile and an adept swordsman. Maxios also has a White Power Ring granted him a collage of powers, including Flight, Construct Creation, X-Ray Vision, and other things (to really get the full grasp, see the page on Wikipedia about the Green Latern Power Ring).

    Backstory: Maxios is very, very, secretive about his past. Since his debut, he's joined HALO, spied on AMEN, be banned from operating as a hero in Inside, hunt for treasure in the Desert of Doom, create LANTERN, get a Ninja Pirate Zombie as a Butler, get a demon trapped in his soul, become the arch-enemy of Mercury, have an alternate version of himself called the Courier come to the Nexus, get killed several times, be cloned, fight said clone in an arena under AMEN, get cloned again, investigate the apparent murder of Mercury, and get trained in the arts of magic by Mercury. But not in that order.

    *-He plays GTA: Vice City a lot
    **-Discussion of which is great party talk, at least, when Maxios isn't around demon hunters
    ***-It's a long story involving LANTERN's activities getting banned in Inside, and Maxios coming up with a loophole that if LANTERN members join the Brotherhood of Steel, they can operate inside it.

    Alias: The King kind of is an alias itself. Although that's because not even he knows what his name is, if he ever had one.

    Gender: Appears to be male.

    Race/Species: Strange frog-man-type thing.

    Age: He's not sure.

    Class/Profession: If he ever had a profession, he's forgotten it by now.

    Power Rating: Almost never attacks. Power is very scalable, anything from none at all right up to A-ish levels.

    Description: The King appears to be a man, except his head is that of a frog's. On top of the frog-head rests a small crown, and he is dressed in a somewhat regal fashion, in a red doublet, goldish trousers, and a dark red cape, fastened with a fancy-looking silver clasp. He holds a kind of staff-sceptre sort of thing in one of his hands; a tall, golden rod, ending in a red orb and three points. But not even any of this is the most unusual thing about the man.

    That most unusual thing is the strange aura surrounding him, extending about a foot around him in all directions. It shines with all the colours in the spectrum, and within it, light filtering through trees appears to be visible. Objects around the man and within the aura seem to be bending into it slightly. Odd.

    Personality: A little verbose. Seems incapable of many emotions beyond intoxicated contentment, a very British polite outrage, and confusion.

    Equipment: Has a crown and sceptre that are visible. Pulls a lot of strange items out of his aura.

    Abilities: Heals people, floats around. Appears to summon and control plants, animals and suchlike. Capable of bending reality a little to suit his needs, though never on purpose. Contact with his aura will induce a very strong, but entirely random emotion within organic beings. Extended contact with his aura has... stranger effects.

    Backstory: To be revealed in EPIC PLOTZ at some point. Maybe.

    Power Rating: E+ (She is weak with some skills to stay alive.)
    Description: : Mia is a young human girl. She is around 1,60 cm in higth and has very pale skin due to her church services and lectures. Her long silk hair matches the amber color of her eyes. She got a slim body with some feminine curves, thought she hopes for a little growth spurt.

    In her free time Mia wears a short sleeved white skirt under a red/orange west. A short red/orange skirt and simular colord comfortable shoes macht the west.
    During church service she wears a long red/orange robe with some white strypes and several Symbols that represent part or machines. Those Symbold are golden, chopper or iron colored and they are even usable to the High priestress robe inhabits protection mechanisms.

    While she started sword training under Wenomir she wears a grey tight womans sportswear and a light leather armor. Her hear got bound to a ponytail.

    Personality: Due to her early call to the church she appears mostly timed. While sometimes her childish side can appear which she supresses most of the time.
    Equipment:MDM (Mini Deus Mechanicus) Power Rating: c+ Able to beat people, but without upgrade not even equal to unnatural strong people [Currently corrupted by the demons]

    Christopher doesn't appear bothered by the divine presence although he can definitely sense it, but the Cherub on his shoulder gives the god a small wave and a smile before she slides off of Christopher's shoulder so she can hang off of his neck as he works. Unlike when Wenomir first met him, Christopher seems keen to work without his mana this time around.

    It takes nearly an hour to set up everything, but by the end of the first hour the forge is blasting out heat, powders prepared, and barrels filled with liquids are opened up for quenching. The ingots of copper, gold, and silver are all put into small cauldrons to melt while the electrum, iron, and steel rods are all put into the furnace to heat. The final item to be positioned, a small quartz anvil, is set right in the center of the workbench.

    Over the course of the next several hours, the rods are heated, hammered, folded, and pressed together all into one as the ingots melt. With every swing of his hammer on the anvil, a small electrical spark strikes the blade as well. Between each created layer the smith dusts the metal with powders of pure silicon, quartz, and the magic crystal that Wenomir had given him, adding new materials to the blade. When the blade is finally shaped how he wants in general, the smith takes his time to create the broad fuller along the center of it before dipping it into the barrels to quench. Flames erupt from one as oil ignites while electrical sparks crackle in the second.

    Finally he dips it into a fine white powder to let it rest and cool. After it does, he pulls it out, revealing an ugly rough blade of several dull colors, but then he gets to work on polishing and grinding. Only then does the Cherub leave his back to pick up Mia's holy symbol and get to work. Using a set of fine tools, she dips out molten copper, gold, and silver, channeling the energy of Mia's god into the metals as she forms a copy of the holy symbol. It takes a bit of work, but once the metal cools completely she takes the smaller piece over to Christopher.

    The sword, now ground and partly polished, shines brightly of steel and the blue-grey electrum with layers and waves of black and grey on the edges. Where he made the groove the sword is almost see-through as if it was like looking through leaded glass. The miniature holy symbol the Cherub made is placed on the blade, right in the center of the groove and above the tang where the crossguard goes. When it is placed, Christopher dusts the blade with more of the fine black powder he used before and then pours the remainder of the molten gold, silver, and copper over the entire work. Instead of ruining the blade or sticking to it, it leaves a metallic sheen and makes it so the holy symbol is merged fully with the blade.

    For the crossguard, he goes for surprisingly simple steel though he takes the time to etch it with copper and electrum before deciding to weld it to the blade. A short time with a hand-held grinder and the weld is made smooth. For the grip, he covers the tang with oak before gently wrapping it in black eel's skin. A second copy of the holy symbol is placed at the very bottom as a pommel and finally the sword is complete and offered to Wenomir and Mia to inspect.

    The blade is a few ounces heavier than the typical steel longsword, but well balanced. There's no innate magical properties to it apart from holding magic, but it will have an affinity to channel electricity as well as the energy of Mia's god.


    Staff of a High priestress:
    a woosen staff with several electric wire who entwine it. On top hover 4 cogweals each connected to two others in a strange war so it looks like an endless loop while each of them keeps turning around.

    Abilities: She is able to animate machines. The animated machines can be linked to other persons(see Andy's arm for example.)
    She can animate metal Junk and make it a robot, which isn't very strong, but will work.
    Also She can hit her companion MDM and make him a fightinng machine to defend her
    Backstory: Comes Later

    Church of Deus Mechanicus

    The place itself is surrounded by a stone wall. The wall appears to be made to keep unsolicited people away, but never leaves the image of a prison. The Iron Gate is guards by two of these Guards each of them appears to be 9 feet Tall, but they show no weapons. The gate is open , but the guards watch every person coming in.

    Behind the Gate appears to be a large building with a huge gate that even allows dragons to pass without shifting into another form. The building itself is made of Iron, steel and chopper. On the wall hang two giant banners showing a giant metal being in a shadow.

    Several people walk around study or just work. Most of them are followed by a guard. People may thing they watch over them, but in fact they assists the humans warning them when they are lost in their work to avoid running into a wall.

    Personality: Nite has a tendency to act rashly. He is prone to sudden mood swings without much provocation. He is much more subdued then prior to his recent accidents. It is likely only Serena's presence that keeps him going.

    - A silver wedding band on a near indestructible chain.

    Abilities: He is nearly a master of a form of magic that is based in his emotions. He has also trained for many years in a martial art that focuses on the use of a dadao and mixing magic with physical combat.

He doesn't known that one of the Objects corrupted him, filling his mind with other personalities. They haven't shown yet, but they keep an eye on him from inside.
    His secret identety is more like he was while entering the nexus.

    Equipment: Aside from normal clothes he has 2 bags. The first is a bag of holding which has many commen things like clothes, spoone, knife, dice shampoo etc. The other one is the "Bag of endless Boom". Inside is allways some explosive from a C4 to dynamite or a holy grenade.

    Related to his backstory he can't use magic, but at some way he is able to get used to spells and become nearly immun to them. At all it needs time to get this immunitie and it's also related to the spell itself. If the spell is a permanent spell Zefir is able to get used to him faster than to one moment spells. On the other side spells like fireball aren't affected.

    Backstory: For short. Zefirs father was a real military and named his childs like weapons or anything that came from the army. All childs became used to there names so Zefir (C4) became used to explosives. The bag was a present to his 20th birthday and often saved his life. Zefir entered the nexus by accident he blew up a lab of a france scientist and fall into his world traveler.

    Without the ability to use magic in any way Zefir got special. That made his Youth very sad. Near none wanted to spend time with him, since Zefir wasn't able to play their games or just because they feared they could get the same. Having no need to study, he focused in training his body and mind to pass the gap between him and the others. Back then he didn't realize the advantage he got...

    Equipment: Clothing and staff as in image, one spare set of clothing, and not much else, to be honest. Staff is mostly a focus instead of being magical in and of itself- indeed, if she has to, she can just channel spells though her own body, but they're much more effective going through the staff.
    Abilities: Liara is a talented White Mage, being very effective at healing and rejuvenating magic. She's also got quite a bit of knowledge regarding mundane medicine, but prefers to use magic- it's quicker, surer, more effective and less painful. She also, unusually for a White Mage, has quite a few offensive spells. She is capable of projecting barriers with the strength of a brick wall, and firing blasts of solid light up to the force of bullets, in particular. She's also a Summoner, but is only able to call on one Esper at the moment...
    Backstory: To come. May do plawt around it, and if so, don't want to put anything up here. Until plawt happens, at least.

    Description: A short and pale-skinned 19 year old girl. Her straight hair is glossy, black, and stretches past her shoulders. However, her hair is now really purple though only at the roots until it grows longer. Her large eyes are icy blue red.
    Equipment: She usually wears short-shorts, a tank-top, open-toed sandals, and sunglasses. She also has a high-tech thermometer that reads many atmospheric conditions (temperature, altitude, pressure, humidity, ect.) A heat ray-gun thing, only usable by her or someone with her temperature powers. Two golden tech-heavy bracelets that act as a two-way lightning teleporter between them and the Magcave. Very prone to 'accidents'. A purple lightsaber!
    Abilities: She can subconsciously and consciously effect the temperature around her, and is immune to heatstroke, hypothermia, and burning. Her powers only effect temperature though, so she can't randomly combust anything unless it actually does burst into flames at "relatively low" (but still high) temperatures. It takes more of her energy and concentration to raise or lower the temperature extremely high. She also has lazor-guided amnesia and naivety.

    She is now a Magtern, so has mad science too! Bwhahaha!

    She has been turned into a demon by Ilpholin, so her hair is now purple and she's gained drow Darkvision, turning her eyes red and allowing her to see in the infrared spectrum. She hasn't learned how to turn that off yet, of course. She is this type of demon, so has their abilities like regeneration, not needing to breath and being much harder to kill than a normal human, and a weakness to silver, mithril, and dragonbone.

    Overview: Mortal Coil is a special forces unit working inside the Empire to help protect the citizens of Inside against supernatural forces. They are trained to fight most known creatures that are beyond a normal mortal's power level, and rarely seek compromise. They are well equipped and trained in many different forms of combat.

    Any member who has special equipment will be labeled in their entry, but otherwise, it's assumed they have the general equipment listed here*.

    *The list is not complete.

    This is what awaits each member after they die and wait to be resurrected. It is the cost for having their souls protected by the two Gods.

    Description: Vasquez is a hard looking woman with an edged face, close cropped brown hair, dark tan skin, and brown eyes. She's never been seen outside of an ISF uniform, or her Mortal Coil Power Armor. Half of this has to do with her hiding the horrible wound her previous commander gave her, the other half has to deal with being devoted to her job.

    Personality: Her personality is just as hard and cold as she looks. She's humorless unless it's something cruel. Usually involving something bad happening to a person she doesn't like. Which is almost everyone.

    However, she is also very devoted to the people who work under her, and takes it hard when a single one of them dies.

    Background: She once served as a member of the ISF Riot Suppression Forces under Commander Edijar. During the coup, she sided with the turncoats, while Edijar did not. She tried to convince him to come peacefully, but instead, got shot by him, nearly dying except for another's assistance. After her recovery, she proposed the Mortal Coil idea to the ISF HQ.

    Obviously, it was approved.

    Special Equipment/Abilities: Eyes have been cybernetically enhanced to include targeting reticules and a HUD of all members under her command, showing their vital signs and positions.

    Has a mental connection to Quinn.

    Description: Both are of a fair height, being elves, and have the standard pointed ears, but while Taul is pale with dark hair, Arla is dark tan, almost brown, with light brown hair. Both are in very good shape physically, and can more than handle their own in a fight. Outside their armor, Taul dresses sharply, cleanly, and always tastefully. Arla, normally wears leather and chains.

    Personality: Taul lives life quick and easily. It's his belief that you should live every day like your last, because someday, it will be your last. Arla on the other hand, takes it a bit slower, making her seem more serious and determined than her brother.

    Background: Both were orphans, and found on the Street of Churches near Red Zone. Each of them were taken in by a separate church, but not kept apart. While they were raised, each was taught by the clergy of their respective god/goddess, and eventually arose to become clerics. After the attack of the Cat People, both joined the IA so they could better use their abilities after seeing their churches flooded with wounded. Eventually, they were approached by Vasquez and made an offer that neither of them would refuse.

    Description: Ted has light brown hair, broad shoulders, and is heavily muscled. Outside of his armor, he wears any array of normal civilian clothing, but will always wear a red scarf around his neck, hiding the terrible bite marks he's once received from a vampire.

    Personality: Ted is a crude guy, rough around the edges. He's had some hard knocks, and won't forget them. He's the kind not to let others forget that either, seemingly always ready for a fight or friendly brawl.

    Background: He had once been a simple grocer, never once minding someone else' business. But, one night, he'd been drugged and kidnapped by a small clan of vampires. He and a half dozen others were kept chained in a basement to be used as food. He'd been bitten over and over, in many places, but never fed blood back, keeping him human. He outlasted the others, but was still close to death when he was found by a small group of ISF. He recovered, but should he ever die, and stay dead, he would Turn.

    He is the main reason that Mortal Coil power armor burns the user's body upon death.

    He now runs free Inside as a vampire, feeding on innocents.

    Special Equipment/Abilities: R.P.S., holy water, blessed mace and holy symbol.

    Description: Fred is about 5ft 8inches tall, very dark skin, with close cropped hair. He has a scar over one eye, and normally wears simple clothes(black or white tunics and pants for the most part).

    Personality: Fred is tough, but easy going. He laughs just as readily as he fights and can take a joke in stride. However, he can be very determined when trying to get to a goal or objective, easily putting himself in front of others without a second thought.

    Background: Fred comes from the Underdark, a place where his noble and chivalrous deeds go punished and misunderstood...*beats background over the head with a mace*

    Fred was raised in a different dimension where New York was a gateway between normal and fantasy worlds. Specifically, he lived in the Bronx. Think of the Underdark, but much scarier.

    Yeah, it was that bad.

    He fought his way through school and life, taking up boxing classes. Sure, he was partly elf, and he was made fun of it, but that just drove him on.

    One night, while he was in the ring, training, the lights went dark, and shadowy forms lunged for him. He couldn't see where he was as he fought his way out and into the streets, only to find the IA and ISF scrounging through the buildings, picking off a ghoul infestation.

    With the other refugees, he had been taken in to be processed and to find a place to live.

    Special Equipment/Abilities: Shaped Blasting Charges, equipped with a pair of shock gauntlets instead of Riot Shield, ambidextrous

    Description: Ever see a pug and think that they're so ugly their cute? Well, Sue is like that. Just without the cute part. He's about 7ft tall, and heavily muscled with a horrible face. He says he has a girlfriend, but one must wonder if she's chained in his room or just as ugly as he is...

    Personality: Sue has a cruel sense of humor and a healthy respect for destroying things on a whim. He's a wrecking ball, not meant to be smart, but he's still fairly smart.

    Background: Sue is named after the greatest warrior of his tribe in the Icy Wastes of the North. He is descended from a line of mountain giants, and shows it in combat, providing great feats of strength and easily destroying defenses.

    Power Rating: B+ - A. Somewhere around there, 'bout all I can tell you is that it's high, though scalable based on how much power-abuse is used. (I'm not good at assigning these, as evidenced by how I pretty much never fill this in. Other than now, obviously.)
    Description: A fairly average looking Caucasian woman with brown hair, her only real distinguishing feature is her strange gray eyes.

    Repulsive Aura: A powerful aura that causes those affected by it to feel disgusted by Altara, or even hate her. Those with resistance to mental effects can resist it, of course, but for some reason it's ludicrously powerful for gods, likely to inspire extreme hatred for her in them. She once lacked any say in the matter over this other than simply making it worse, but now seems to be able to control it.

    Black Mist: Altara commonly conjures up a strange, swirling black mist that forms into most anything, usually types of melee weapons. Weapons formed by this tend to leave a sick feeling in anyone hit or cut by them, and have a weak magic-disrupting ability. The sickness effect is, similarly to her repulsive aura, more pronounced in gods. The sickness/magic disruption effects also go for simple physical contact with them, though the more forceful the contact, the worse the effect. Do not under any circumstances inhale the black mist. Altara also has total control over black mist-formed items, allowing them to change their shapes at will, up to and including a bladed weapon stabbed into someone exploding outward and making a gigantic mess. The black mist can also be used to form high-speed solid bolts with the same effects as normal.

    Mistform/Immortality: Altara's powers stem from an ancient and permanent spell of sorts, though it was much more complex than a single spell. She was cursed to walk the worlds for eternity, eternally despised due to her repulsive aura. This, naturally, went very much according to plan, leading to her 'death' several times from the paranoid, superstitious, and just plain evil. When she is wounded badly enough that it would kill a normal person, her body explodes into a cloud of her own black mist, which drifts to...wherever...and eventually reforms, clothes and all. The downside is that she has no control over where this goes, being 'dead' and all. It's very inconvenient, especially since it can lead to instant-re-death situations. The upshot of the mistform reformation ability is that she is, in some part, made of that black mist.

    Conveniences: Due to her cursed immortality, Altara doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep. She still can, though.

    Personality: Altara can seem cold at times, sometimes even using her repulsive aura to weed out those who would 'kill for no reason' and eliminate them. From her perspective, those who would kill because of causeless hate could do much worse if they ever do get a reason. Underneath that, though, she seems confused and not sure what to do with herself anymore, since the repulsive aura that made it impossible to stay in one place for very long is now under her control, and she does seem concerned for the safety of others. Who knows what time will reveal?

Not large enough to be unwieldly, in fact, they seem rightly sized for his human skull.

    He has a wide, sly-looking mouth, and a thin-bridged nose to accompany it. His ears match those of his wildshape form, if a lot smaller while human. They tend to slant up and back. His eyes are quite dark, and he sees more sharply at night.

    A brown set of stripes can be seen running down from his eyebrows, slipping along his nose and curving out onto his cheeks. It's hard to notice these at times, due to his slightly dark complexion. The stag's face is of the longer sort, sharp round the chin. His hair is the color of bark, short and neatly cut, showing off his antlers.

    Adir will almost never be seen without a few things. For one, his wedding ring, a gold band with black thorny patterns. Two, a small, circular gold earring. And three, a wooden bracelet on his right wrist.


    Current Depiction

    Personality: Adir is a quick-talking, sociable fellow. Thought (and perhaps thinks) of himself as all-around amazing, but he is trying to be more humble. Is an animal and a savage at heart, and it often shows.

    The stag is dedicated to protecting his family and rearing his rapidly growing number of children.

    Equipment: Guns, a variety of them. Maybe a longbow or two as well. Futuristic anti-magic combat armor. Maybe some magical stuff. Other than that, there's not a lot. At least, nothing I can think of right now.

    Abilities: Can shapeshift into a big, white-tailed stag at will. Just the lower half of his body can also be shapeshifted, turning him into something resembling a satyr. Excellent marksman, but prefers mid-short range. Sniping is not his specialty. Some woodland-based powers, but nothing high-scaled. Strength and speed greater than that've a mortal. He's a bit harder to kill than your average human, too.

    He has the powers of Winter from the Empress of Southside: great strength, durability, and the ability to summon weapons and armor tailored to fit him.

    Backstory: Adir hails from a savage, ancient world, where the gods of nature and the ancient spirits of the world held sway over mortals. His line was a primal and violent one, a long series of strange mystical creatures that wandered the woodland, hunting and being worshipped in exchange for their wisdom, protection and fealty. The planet was always half-connected to the Outside region of the Nexus, and his people often passed through there freely.

    Power Rating: B, I'd say. Scalable based on how much abuse I feel like pulling with psychic abilities, mostly telekinesis-based ones. He's capable of , but doing exceptionally crazy things is usually impossible and even when it is possible, he's liable to pass out for a while afterward. That said, he's hard to rate since he's much more brutal when he's allowed to cut loose-having nasty things to throw around in with no fear of collateral damage does that, for example.
    Description: A man with slightly pale skin and a rather small, non-muscular frame, he has short black hair and exceedingly dark eyes. He usually wears a dark red shirt, black jacket, and black pants, with similarly colored footwear. He sometimes wears a white labcoat outfit, though.

    In a word, bitter. He's rather paranoid and distrusting of anyone he has even a vague reason to distrust, other than his rather small circle. He's often more than willing to engage in questionable methods to get his way, such as planting a positive energy bomb in a sword destined for the Admiral. However, underneath that exterior, he seems to have more than sufficient reason to be that way, given how being trusting and trying to give chances ended up with him having Reinholdt resurrected a long time ago. Reinholdt went on to start the original Shepherd-Apocalypse and attempt to conquer the Nexus for Astir, committing the Apoca-Con atrocity along the way. He has since viewed that as his failure, with millions of lives lost because of his mercy, and his behavior has become significantly more ruthless as a result. Simply mentioning Reinholdt around him is liable to anger him, and he has nothing but hatred for those who would try to end the world/universe/multiverse/etc.

    Needless to say, he is not ever going to forgive Reinholdt for what he did.

    He does still have some limits, though, shown when he couldn't bring himself to mind-wipe Darcy. He also seemed to consider it when Sunny-a victim of Apoca-Con who knew of DC's hand in allowing it to happen-told him to stop letting Reinholdt's actions control his life.

    Other than that, he takes great pride in his scientific work, and often seems rather smug when someone falls for a trap of his engineering, such as the aforementioned sword-bomb.

    Abilities: DC has powerful psychic abilities, specializing in the area of telekinesis, psychokinesis and applied forms thereof, such as forcefields. He doesn't usually attack directly with them, instead opting to wield other weapons telekinetically, for example. This also leads to tricks like telekinetically turning on someone else's gun's safety. He's fairly talented with small bladed weapons like daggers or knives, and is a fairly good marksman. His true expertise as far as weapons go, however, is in creating them, as he's a rather gifted inventor and scientist.

    Variable Beam Rifle: A peculiar weapon, this one uses variable-energy power cells to produce an intense beam of whatever energy is used in the cells. The cells recharge at a decent rate on their own, and the beam can be fired constantly for a sweeping attack through a large number of foes. Currently, DC has the normal energy cell, elemental fire cells, elemental cold/ice cells, positive energy cells, and negative energy cells.

    Assault Gun: A heavy weapon similar to the old ion cannon seen in two of the avatars shown above, it is silverish instead of dark red in those areas, and glows a silvery color as well. Instead of the main barrel, though, it possesses a 'split' barrel-or rather, many barrels at once. It uses a modified MACE unit as its power source, giving allowing it to fire searing hot energy bolts for a long time before needing to recharge. It's a bit smaller than the EvHW-1 Assault Blaster used by the Empire, though, and not quite as powerful. They are, however, based on the same principles.

    Energy Cannon: This heavy weapon looks nigh-identical to the old ion cannon, again, only silver in coloration rather than dark red and glowing the same color. Usually. This one fires a deadly energy blast based on whatever power source it's using, usually a modified MACE unit like that of the assault gun. Thus, it's usually a fairly standard searing hot energy blast, as compared to the Assault Gun's smaller bolts.

    Cloaking Device: A small cloaking device DC keeps hidden in his jacket. Not much else to say about it.

    Drones: He has a fairly small number of rat-sized mini-drones that usually keep to WATCHTOWER and are controlled by a central mainframe. They are only armed with very light lasers. They have small treads and tiny, retractable robotic arms to aid in movement. They're more useful for spying and observation than anything else.

    Psy-Burst Grenades: Reddish crystalline shells surrounding a black metal core, these grenades are used via some of DC's experiments into psychically-triggered weaponry. The lack of a conventional explosive mechanism means they have more shrapnel and a larger blast radius than normal, though those incapable of tele-/psychokinesis cannot use them. Presumably, this is why he doesn't market them.

    In addition, he has access to everything Evolution Industries produces, including products meant for Imperial/Remnant/Irregular use.

    Chezchire

    Alias: Mr. Cat, Chezzy

    Description: Chezchire is a large, 4 ft. tall cat, dark and light orange striped cat. Were anyone to look at him with very powerful spells designed to see a beings true form, they might notice six floating eyeballs that follow him around or occasionally go on scouting missions, it's also worth noting that the eyes that are actually in his head don't look quite right, as though they aren't actually eyes at all.

    Personality: Subject to change at any given moment, but always callous and cruel. He does have several distinct guises though, Mr. Cat is annoying and speaks only in lolspeak, except when talking about his backstory, Arquim never speaks, except on matters of dire importance, and Chezchire, his most used persona, is continually hungry and likes to ruin peoples day.

    Equipment: Can summon whatever he needs, assuming it's not overly specific. He also owns Irony, a 9-iron with several distinct properties. For one, Irony is almost impossible to dodge, parry or block, it simply has a unerring ability to strike it's target. For another, should it be blocked somehow, fate will conspire to arrange a second chance, and to give Chezchire his revenge.

    Backstory: Ain't telling. Chezchire happily will though.

    Miscellaneous: Do not mess with him when he's hungry. This is all.



    The Weatherman

    Class/Profession: Weather reporter, champion of the elemental incarnation of Weather.

    Description: The Weatherman is slightly taller than human average, has short black hair, blue eyes. He is somewhat handsome and seems to be continually happy, which he is. He wears a sky blue tuxedo with cloud pattern and a top hat with a slightly glowing sun insignia at the top and a ring of clouds orbiting it, were someone to look very closely at the hat, they might even note the tiny world that stands on it's brim.

    Personality: The Weatherman is always happy, except for short moments when his dreams are completely and utterly crushed. He is also somewhat of an idiot, because although he has a high enough IQ, he lacks of common sense, survival instinct and the ability to tell when someone is planning to stab him. His hobby is hair-brained and completely unrealistic schemes, like starting a TV show or becoming a pirate. It's also worth noting that the weather effects his mood, storms tend to make him mad, rain makes him unhappy, ect.

    Equipment: A combination umbrella/sword-cane that can transform slightly. Pretty much nothing else, come to think of it.

    Backstory: Not to long ago, the Weatherman was a ordinary, non-PC weatherman, without even a capital letter to his name. Then Weather showed up, and as he can't really do much directly, decided to make the weatherman his champion, giving him a capital first letter, a actual name, and even a suitably cliche backstory, something about a magical academy and being a alien. However, as the Weatherman still hasn't got used to his name and doesn't really remember the backstory, he just calls himself the Weatherman.

    Mercury

    Description: Mercury has green eyes, blond hair and is ridiculously handsome to the point where he looks a little too perfect to be human, due to the various beauty spells he constantly uses. He always wears his turquoise and purple robes, although he sometimes alters their form.

    Personality: Mercury, as anyone can tell, is extremely vain, and prides himself on his appearance. He is also quite selfish, and doesn't really care who he harms in the process of getting what he wants, although he dislikes physical violence and would never actually kill anyone.

    Equipment: Various enchanted items, wands and spell components. Depends on what he's expecting to have to deal with, although he always carries a magic scanner.

    Backstory: Mercury was born on a world were magic was granted by contracts with Daemons, magic elementals that feed on emotions. When he was twelve, Mercury made a deal with a Daemon in order to join his nations magical elite, who ruled over those without magic. As it turns out, Mercury was just talented enough to be good at magic, but not talented enough to be eaten by his Daemon, and he graduated from academy as the best and only surviving member of his class. Sadly, he rose through the ranks of magery a little to fast, and his rivals implemented a scheme that ended with him escaping into the Nexus.

    When the Nexus was formed, at the beginning of time, the first embodiments were formed. They were Aldronax, the embodiment of good, Lawfor, the embodiment of law, and Beast, embodiment of evil and chaos.

    Abilities: ...essentially, she has the same abilities as Shirou Emiya/Archer from Fate/Stay Night. Her most-used ability is that of 'Tracing', the replication of an object she has seen (every aspect of it- age, history, magical power, although not as powerful). She has an affinity for swords, but can trace other objects as well. She also has the ability to use an ability called 'Unlimited Blade Works', which essentially projects her inner world (a field of all the swords she's ever seen) into reality. This increases the potency of the swords she projects. The only circumstance under which she can't trace an object/access it in UBW is when she can't understand some part of it- an incredibly ancient sword would be untracable, as would one which accessed forces incomprehensible by humans.

    Description: 8'1''; he's a big guy, even for a half-giant. 390 lbs; about average weight for his size. Agile and reasonably fir but not incredibly musclebound; compared to your average half-giant, he's the tall, wiry guy. Skin is deep tan. Hair ranges from light to dark red, depending on mood. His left arm has a tattoo from the shoulder down; deep red at the shoulder, then a lighter shade, then lighter, and up to deep orange-red at the fingertips with each stage separated by jagged fire-lines. (Occasionally, the hair and the tattoo turn other colors; see Personality.)

    He's basically wearing this guy's armor, only take away the gauntlets and replace the armor from the legs down with padded leggings. This is what he wears when he's not undercover or asleep; he's a fire half-giant, he doesn't get hot or sweaty. When he's undercover, replace the whole thing with padded camo.
    Personality: If you had your typical band of adventurers in a bar, Garrekan would be the big guy who sits down, orders three pints of beer, drinks 'em all in one swig and initiates a drinking song. He's boisterous, friendly, fiercely protective of friends, and very loud. He's also quite intelligent and streetwise, but he's not regular wise or a leader of any sort. He's not good at strategy or long-term planning, but he's good with short-term tactics and adjusting plans on the fly. Strong emotions are usually reflected in his hair and arm tattoo (and voice color); deep red is depressed, gray is resolve, lime green is excitement. (Note that these are only extreme emotions; normal emotion strength is just different red/orange and isn't visible in what color he speaks in.) If he is looking at you and turns indigo, back away slowly. If he looks at you and turns blue, run away quickly. If he turns BLACK (represented by bolded, underlined caps), EVERYONE NEARBY should run away quickly.
    Equipment: The armor above. It's fireproof, obviously, and is more practical than it looks. He also has a magitek flamethrower gauntlet thing which uses his half-fire-giant powers to burn, zap, and explode stuff he shoots, a bastard sword (on fire, naturally). He also has a utility belt (like Batman, only the impossible space requirement is waved away by bags of holding instead of 'too badass for mortal comprehension'), with stuff like thieves' tools, a ten-foot pole, a bunch'a utility items, stuff like that.
    Abilities: He's a fire half-giant, but he's got natural talent for shaping and controlling fire. He can light fires by concentrating, he can put out fires by concentrating, he can make small explosions by concentrating, he's virtually immune to heat. Stuff like that. The gauntlet enhanced that so that he's basically a living flamethrower and grenade launcher. Also, he's good at channelling that energy into stuff he makes- he can make explosives ten times more powerful than normal with a tenth of the materials. Garrekan is good at stealth; he likes to deploy his explosives himself.
    Backstory:CG father, rebel from LE fire giant society, assassinated, son swears revenge, kills evil ruler, yadda yadda. The resulting explosion would've killed him (fire immunity or no), but he was hurled into the Nexus first, I guess. The rest TCL, or not.
    Misc: Garrekan was the name of one of my first D&D characters, a barbarian. He was the most memorable one, so I took the name and personality and turned it into the part of me that really wants to FFRP. I hope nobody minds me blowing up evil fortresses. (Except for the evil guys, of course.)

    Description: Where to begin? First off Kordson is short. Real short, we're talkin’ borderline gnomish here, Kordson measures in at a towering 4’8”. Kordson is a bit heavy for his size weighing in at ~165Lbs, which is not to say he’s fat, just well muscled. Kordson is well tanned do to his many travels and occationally sleeping outside. Kordson is completely bald and his eyes are two toned, an outer ring of green fading into an inner sparkle of ice-blue.
    Kordson normally dresses casually, a plain grey or green shirt or tunic and grey slacks. Kordson is almost always seen carrying a large backpack or duffle-bag which holds basically everything he owns; a change of cloths, some food, and a number of other surprises.

    -Gloves of lesser impact: These padded, fingerless, martial arts gloves were disigned to prevent combatents with super strength from killing each other in hand-to-hand combat. They reduce the damage without reducing the force, a strike that would go through a brick wall or shatter bones would only cause some brusing but could still knock you off your feet.


    Personality: Described in a single word, Happy. Dangerously happy. While a normal person might show happiness through a light-hearted punch to the arm, Kordson uses Back slaps, headbutts, and the occasional right hook. Easy going but not willing to watch other people suffer. Kordson can be fiercely loyal, and would sooner gut himself than break a promise to a friend. Kordson’s mind isn’t exactly the brightest polished fork in the drawer but he hasn’t let that stop him yet.
    Abilities:Has great strength. Kordson is primarily a brawler, but he will use just about anything as a weapon if the situation calls for it. In combat, Kordson is fairly durable, able to withstand, and walk away (though fairly injured) from, attacks that would kill a normal man. When pushed to his limits Kordson may draw up inner ki energy (dragon ball Z style yet no beams or flying) to fuel his abilities and perform "special" attacks.
    Backstory: Kordson prefers not to talk about his past and will often try to change the subject should a conversation start heading that direction.
    This is one of his favourite versions:
    Kordson's cannot remember being told any details about his birth. Kordson grew up in the slums of a grand city [insert name here]. He was raised by his mother and sister. Kordson does not know who his father is, and really couldn’t care less. Kordson's family was poor and unnoticed by the community. In his childhood, Kordson loved to explore his home and its surroundings. Early on Kordson witnessed a terrible incident, but it's all in the past right?. During this time, Kordson's carefree attitude surfaced. Kordson became an apprentice of a monk, who teached him all the basics, but was cast out of the monastery after (unknowingly) insulting a high ranking member. You’d a though a guy name Whyzkrac (pronounced wise crack) would have a sense of humour. At a mature age, Kordson set out to explore the world. Kordson's closest friend is an extradimensional chinchilla with choochoo powers *snicker*.

    *spoiler* for people who just must know everything right know. Kordson’s family was brutally murdered. Upon returning home one day, Kordson found their bodies horribly shredded and mutilated. The police/ guards of city where he was living did not even investigate because slum deaths were not worth the resources.
    As you might have guessed Kordson may (or may not) be an illegitimate child of the D&D deity Kord.

    Description: He stands 8 feet tall and is thin and wiry, but muscular. His skin is a dull grey and very rough and weathered. He has long, barbed spines on his head and smaller ones scattered over the rest of his body, they are nearly black. Instead of a mouth he has a beak like jaw. He has only four digits on each hand. His eyes are a solid, milky white. His clothes consist of worn, leather harnesses and belts.

    Personality: Orak is generally stern and serious. He is slow to trust those of other races, but if you befriend him he is fiercely loyal. If he does something that others see as wrong he won't understand what the problem is, and likely continue what he was doing.

    Equipment:
    - Kroot Rifle. A basic slug throwing rifle. Blades extend downward from the end of the barrel and stock. The rifle doubles as a gun and fighting staff.
    - Shaper Knife. Symbolic knife that represents his status as a Shaper. Still pretty dang sharp. It is about a foot long and is made of pure obsidian.

    Abilities:
    - Very skilled in melee combat and moderately skilled with his gun.
    - Can jump very well.
    - He can secrete an oily sweat that contains pheromones that allow him to make where he has been.
    - He is a master of stealth, and can move with complete silence.

    Backstory: Orak is a Kroot shaper. It was his responsibility to guide his kindred in their evolutionary growth and in battle. One day when he and his kindred we roaming, looking for suitable prey, they came across a group of zombies (see zombie survival guide). They easily defeated the zombies and Orak judged their flesh worthy of being eaten. It would be good to have their resistance to pain. It went badly though within an hour his entire kindred was dead, he hadn't stopped to take the time to eat. Now he travels far and wide in search of the perfect prey. He hopes doing so will restore his honor.

    Miscellaneous: Repeatedly eating the flesh of a particular species will allow him to gain traits from that species. This is a slow process though.
