Yeah, I'd reccomend writing it in a word processor. Have had some long posts fail on me; and after that I just started writing any important/long posts in Word.

I'd just copy it periodically as you're writing it in a post. Then, if you lose it, you can just paste it back on.

Well seeing as how for the last month, I only cheked on thread in all of GitP.

I just found this from Silv's Sig, and I love it. Great writing, and I love how you add in characters from people's ideas of themselves. I would like to get in on that as well. My character would be a Bard or a Sorcerer who seems completely insane, but usually ends up manipulating people, either for good or for his own purposes, depending on if you want a villian or a good-guy. Somewhat like Dumbledore, except younger and less tragic and more musical. As for names, he would call himself "OOHHHMMM" like Buddhist monks, but his real name would be Ome. If someone misspoke his name, he would either show up in person, or a sign would appear correcting the mistake. And yes, I would enjoy being a comic character.

Also, I have part names, starting from where they leave off in the first section.

Paladin Academy: Chapter 2: Part 10

Sunlight was making its way across the room as the morning progressed. Viola was looking over at the flowers that Kurama had brought her. They were ruffled up and missing some pedals caused by her reactionary shockwave that she blasted Kurama with.

She thought about Kurama and how much he cared for her. No one in her life had shown this much attention to her. Her eyes shifted to the windows where the sun was crawling its way high into the sky. Down below she could hear the other paladins still working on rebuilding the fortress. Kurama was among them, working hard with everyone else. And all this time, she was sitting up here.

She couldn't stand it anymore. She was not going to be on the sidelines while everyone else was working hard. She took a deep breath, gritted her teeth, and slowly pulled her way up into a sitting position. She hissed as the pain tried to bring her back down, but this time she was determined to beat it. Turning slightly, she pressed her bare foot onto the stone floor. She paused to take some several steadying breaths before she continued with the other foot. After sitting on the edge of the bed for the first time since her injury, Viola was ready to finally leave her cushion prison.

She arced her back as she pushed her way up from the bed. Instantly, the pain shot up again in protest. It was almost as if the pain knew she was trying to leave the confines of the bed and was making its last stand. It was a war of wills as Viola fought and struggled to stand up, until she felt the bed withdraw from under her. She pressed her hand down on the nightstand and she looked down. The feeling of being able to stand on her own two feet again was indescribable emotion. She felt the early development of tears forming from this joy before she quickly wiped them away. She had only completed half the battle, the other half was making her way down to the training grounds. She didn't know what she could do, but she was going to do something. Anything to help in rebuilding the academy. And she wasn't going to take no for an answer.

She grabbed her crystal and pocketed it. She then leaned over and braced herself on the wall. Carefully, she placed one foot in front of the other, wincing as pain lances up with each step. Finally, she reached the door and took hold of the handle. Suddenly, her will faltered. How was she going to get all the way down to the training grounds? She couldn't crawl along the wall the entire way.

She sighed heavily with despair. Her fingers were slipping away from the rung one by one. She then stopped, with her middle finger just barely touching handle. She wanted to look out into the hallway again. See it with her eyes and not with her sound sense. She braced herself as she pulled the door open. It creaked as she looked out into the hall. She smiled, knowing that she could come this far.

Something in the corner of her eye caused her to turn. Leaning against the wall beside the door was a crutch that was the perfect height for her. On the top was a note attached it elegant curved writing.

"I thought you would try and make your leave today. It pleases me that you are feeling better. I welcome the sight of seeing you under the sun with us all once again."

Viola smiled, emotions of happiness flooding through her. She pocketed the note and took hold of the crutch. She carefully tried it out for a few steps before readying herself to continue onward. Every other step was accompanied with a loud *Thump*.

Its been a while, but I finally done it. I'm over at the scout camp and the first week has been really hectic. Finally got the time to finish writing this.

I also realized that I was trying to blend too much together into one part. It was making everything sound corny and rushed. So I split this one part into several different parts with their own focus. It may take a little longer to move the story along, but it will be included with more and better detail.

Anyways, lets hope I can keep this up.

I like the emotions in that one. Two small nitpicks: There's an "b" missing at the beginning of the 5th paragraph ("grabed hold"). And at some places there were a lot of sentences following each other, that began with "She (did X)". Not bad, but somewhat inelegant. Please don't take it too negative, I'm just trying to be constructive.
