One thing though, if he's immune to the Paladins' abilities, does that include passive ones (e.g. would he become invisible to Bis or not be able to be picked up by Penny)?

...assuming he's actually immune and that's not just what his magical arms dealer told him...

I think Penny's ability is active. And if he is immune to passive abilities, Bis would see and hear him with the perception of a normal person instead of his heightened senses.
