Exalted Feats and Monks

Is it just me, or are the bonus feats from VoP specifically designed to make monks even more MAD? E.g. Sanctify Ki strike. Prereqs? Cha 15.
Now I begin to understand why people say VoP is so underpowered.

I think it's because the writers were expecting everyone to be playing Monk/Cleric multiclass characters or something. I can't really think of any other reason.

That would require straight 18s on stat rolls to be workable XD
