    Default wizard shadow-evoc build ideas?

    Hello playgrounders,

I was looking for ways to increase shadow evoc & conjur potency.

More particularly i need to create a shadow evoc user lvl 13 with a +1 or more lvl adj (DM's rules). that means ECL 14. he gives the +1 alvl adj for free so he can see more races around.

The set-up is Wizard with banned schools conjur & evoc.
And the flavor needs her to be shadow using,& i chose shadow evoc.
I found shadowcrafter & i think i'll take shadow weave & 1 lvl of shadow adept for the feats.

I am loking for ideas on how i could make something good here.
    Classes,items etc.
It could also be an alternative as long as it supports the shadow-using flavor.

My sources are,all FR books + all suplements except tomes & books asociated with other setings. Also flaws & lvl adj buy off are off limits
The DM gave me 100.000exp, & 90.000gp which allows me to use item creation feats & burn up to 9k xp without crossing the lvl 14 threshold.

Than you in advance for your help.

    14th level and Forgotten Realms?

Gnome and Shadowcraft Mage (Races of Stone) as previously suggested, plus you can build in Master Specialist (Complete Mage) AND Shadow Adept (PGtF). The Master Specialist gains Concealment at 7th level, which the Shadowcraft Mage already has, but a generous DM will just add 20% to the Shadowcraft Mage's concealment, since it's an odd percentage to start with.

Illusionist 1 - Shadow Weave Magic
    Illusionist 2
Illusionist 3 - Spell Focus Illusion
    Master Spec 1
    Master Spec 2
Master Spec 3 - Metamagic Feat
    Shadow Adept 1
    Shadowcraft Mage 1
    Shadowcraft Mage 2 - feat
    Shadowcraft Mage 3
    Shadowcraft Mage 4
    Shadowcraft Mage 5 - feat
    Master Spec 4
    Master Spec 5

And if you're really burning for a free +1 LA, Chaos Gnome (Races of Stone) gets some stuff. Not much stuff, but hey, it's free and you need gnome for Shadowcraft Mage.

Thumbs up Re: wizard shadow-evoc build ideas?

Thank you guys for your help.

Unfortunately, after a conversation i had with my DM, i got things wrong & it was ECL13/12HD,as he not want 7th lvl spells arround there.

Gbprime i liked your build, & i would adopt it if i could actually take the minor school esoterica from M.Specialist but sice i have only 3 lvls for him, after shadowcraft mage 5/illusionist 3/S.Adept 1 ,i'll take 2 wizard lvls for the bonus feat -->signature spell.

& for the +1 lvl adj i traded chaos cnomes for shadowalker template

    bye bye people.
