I have much love for this spell, it's a real crowd stopper.

Sculpt is personal favorite with any BFC spell. Quicken is, as ever, also excellent on a spell without a save.

Doesn't work; needs to deal damage. Freezing Fog works well with it though.

Transdimensional Spell.
Now they can't teleport out.

Invisible Widened Fell (Op. Acidic) Solid fog, is my favorite.
They cant see it, hence wont know were it ends, It drains levels (and can do d6's of damage) and its Massive in area. Pretty much a guaranteed K.O for your average bady.
Bonus points for a Widened Force Cage just to toy with them. (Or Wall, depending on your level of resources.)

Yea, the Ethereal Plane and Plane of Shadows are both coterminous, but the Astral Plane most definitely is not.
