[3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
Are there any ways to advance both Cleric and Rogue at the same time? I'm asking particularly about prestige classes, but feel free to surprise me with cheesy feats (or whatever).

Re: [3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
1 or 4 levels of Seeker of the Misty Isle (Complete Divine) seem worth it? You can't put them in rogue skills, but the class does get 6+Int skill points and medium BAB.
1 seems like a solid dip, 4 seems like a non-optimal, but potentially flavorful dip.Last edited by Zovc; 2010-06-18 at 03:47 PM.

Re: [3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
The only straightforward approach is via Sacred Outlaw, as that multiclassing feat combines Rogue and Cleric levels for sneak attack and undead turning progression. Since sneak attack is the stronger ability this will generally be used in a mostly-Cleric build.
I know of no prestige classes that advance both Rogue and Cleric abilities.

Re: [3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
The Shadowspy PrC may fit the flavor you seek, but...it kinda sucks. From Complete Champion.

Re: [3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
You're going to want 3 levels of Rogue to qualify for Sacred Outlaw. These levels are useful for things other than sneak attack, too:
- Level 2 gives you evasion.
- Level 3 gives you trap sense, which you can trade for the Penetrating Strike ACF (Dungeonscape, page 13): ½ normal sneak dice against sneak-immune creatures you flank.

Re: [3.5] Cleric/Rogue Advancement
As for PrCs, the only one I know is Black Flame Zealot, but it dose not have full caster progression so it generally sucks. I suggest using sacred outlaw in conjunction with Rogue 3/Cloistered Cleric X, and using a feat(s) to gain some rogue skills as class skills.
