Re: GITP Monster Competition Voting Thread: ACHOO!
My vote is for the Envious Plaguebearer. Only the Lost Hope entry goes into as much detail regarding the disease itself, and I find Envious Plague more interesting than The Realization. I believe that the Plague could result in more entertaining roleplay.

Re: GITP Monster Competition Voting Thread: ACHOO!
Banksie wins my vote but by the narrowest margin. In this case, I give him extra credit for taking the word "plague" in the biblical sense (i.e. plague of locusts), which I thought was a novel way of looking at it. Envious Plaguebearer was really really good.
Kudos to all the contestants for making this one hard to judge.

P.E.A.C.H. Please Evaluate And Critique Honestly. Being nicer and kinder doesn't hurt either. Note I generally only critique 3.5 and Pathfinder material.
Please, please, please when using non-core material, cite to the books. There are too many books to wade through to find the one with the feat, special ability or spell you use.

Re: GITP Monster Competition Voting Thread: ACHOO!
I'm going to vote Banksie, despite it being against my principals. I actually like both Envious Plague and The Revelation better than my plague but the creatures themselves are a bit dull.

Yours was disqualified, VT mentioned it in the last post of the contest thread.

Sorry Josha, I did try to point out that you'd not got a unique disease for the monster. I think Debbi did too.

Envious plaguebearer. It's conceptually quite novel and the design is fairly elegant.

Re: GITP Monster Competition Voting Thread: ACHOO!
I am voting for The Lost Hope. I enjoy the idea a lot! It shared a lot in common with my creation, even if mine turned out to be more of a template. heh. Great job all of you!
