Do you know if some kind of simplified book is available? Or not necessarily simplified, just "properly organized"?

There's an Index on tables at the beginning of the book. At the end of the book you'll find glossary and keyword index. And then there's Table of Contents at the beginning of the book. Between these, it should be a breeze to find whatever you're looking for.

...but it doesn't have the specific piece of information you're looking for, because then people would be able to play D&D without buying the books. Otherwise very useful.
