Druid Companion Lvl 8-10
Just looking for tps on a Druid Companion.
I will be level 8 but likely to be able to take a pet as if i were a level 10.
I was thinking Tiger as Fleshraker is not allowed.
We think good idea or bad idea?

I just published my first novella, Lúnasa Days, a modern fantasy with a subtle, uncertain magic.
You can grab it on Kindle or paperback.

Definitely get the feat Natural Bond from Complete Adventurer, which can help offset the penalty to your effective druid level for what benefits a more powerful companion gets.
Dire Eagle in Races of Stone is one of my favorites, but a tiger is definitely a viable choice. Consider taking Exalted Companion from BoED to get a celestial version, and then your animal companion can take VoP and get amazing bonuses based on its HD.

As a level 8 Druid - and an allowance to take a pet as if i were Level 10 -
Am I a suitable level to take a Magebred Ghost Tiger?
Also, is this the best tiger i can get at that level?

Re: Druid Companion Lvl 8-10
By RAW there is no way of making it a ghost tiger (especially with the charisma requirement for ghost), however it's theoretically possible to have it be a magebred warbeast.
