Default Is the Warlock Open Game Content? [3.5]

And if so, where can I find the information? I need the class table as it is in Complete Arcane, as well as the list of invocations and their descriptions. Please help me out here.

Ah well. I'll just copy the pages on the warlock out of my friend's copy of CA the next time they come over (which is tomorrow). I win anyways. Thanks, Darth Stabber.

If it's not in the PHB, the DMG, the MM-I, the XPH, Deities and Demigods, Unearthed Arcana, or the ELH, it's not OGL. Even so, some items are not OGL in those books.

Are things posted on the WotC website considered open? I mean, you can link to the website, so you should be able to copy/paste from the website as long as you cite it. Right?

I know Warblade is there, as is Dragonfire Adept, Pious Templar, Deepwarden, etc etc etc.

They're not OGL. You can reference them under Fair Use, but that's about it.

Don't forget MMII! Everyone forgets the Razor Boar and Scorpionfolk for some reason.

Those are specific exemptions, but yes. Razor Boar and Scorpionfolk from MM-II are explicitly listed as OGL content.

Easiest to just provide a link. I can't remember if there's a WotC page for the Warlock, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

There is a warlock entry in the SRD. If that helps.

That is not the SRD. It looks like some guy added in stuff he likes. However he got a few things wrong, Heighten Turning for instance is not metamagic, and he replaced the text with Empower Turning.

For your purposes, you just need it to be Fair use, not OGL.

If wizard has the table on the web, you can use that one.

Uh... that's wild. A duplicate SRD that looks nearly identical and has extra content. Bizarre.

By the by, since we're all apparently confused about this, here's the true WotC d20 SRD.

Actually this is the official SRD, but I believe the one Arguskos linked is true to the original.

Technically, no. This is the "true" WotC SRD, being that it's hosted on the WotC site.

If you scroll down to the bottom of d20srd.org, you'll see this (emphasis mine):

The information on the site was just taken from WotC's SRD and made into a better, searchable format.

EDIT: Derp, ninja'd. In any case, now you know.

Hey, well, I still prefer the hyperlinked one. Thanks for the heads up though.

    That is some strange SRD.

All Druids are automatically Shapechange Druids, apart from two variants (that I guess are homebrew).

    Some homebrew (I think) class.

    Some fighter variants.

Rogues get Weapon Finesse/Shadow Blade (just a different name) for free.

Bards get some UMD stuff (I guess, it doesn't explain the abilities).

    Paladins get some extra stuff.

    Monks don't.

As do I. I used the other one for almost a year before I found d20srd.
