So I am making a 6th level character and have 3 mutation points. How many drawbacks can I take? is there a limit?

You don't spend mutation points for drawbacks, you get mutations points for drawbacks.

So...theoretically, the only limit to how many drawbacks you can take is the number of drawbacks you have access to and your common sense.

So i took these drawbacks and mutations. The total number of points used for mutations is equal to amount given by drawbacks.

Drawbacks:

Light Sensitivity
Heat Susceptibility, Poisonous Blood
Thin Skin, Weak Immune System

Mutations:

Echolocator, Force Barrier, Leaper
Wall Crawler, Gills, Smokescreen
Unnatural Eyes, Unnatural Hair

Some of the d20 Modern rules added in d20 Future seem intimidating at first, but they're rather simple once you get used to them.
