    Default Familiar Question?

This is my first time obtaining a familiar and I was wondering what the best familiar for a chaotic good, skill monkey thief would be. I have plenty of skills in all thats nessecary so its skills are not as important. Improved Familiar has already been taken, I just need to make my choice. Please and thank you!

With my Chaotic Good alignment, I guess that leaves me with mephits.

You're a Thief? Huitzil. Mischievous Dragon things from "Dragon Magic", and as far as I'm aware, Improved Familiar is not required to take them. They are a tiny species captivated by anything shiny, and are not bad in combat either, as their attacks are near useless but they can give -2 to an opponent's attack rolls using their distract ability. Also, they give +3 to Sleight of Hand.

Tell your DM about the Succubus Paladin that was made by WOTC. Might change his mind.

Living Silence or Living Invisibility Sphere, or basically any living illusion spell. I personally love living silent image.

No, no, I've got to say, this isn't a question I'm familiar with.

See if your GM will let you have a Monkey. There's no real reason not to except it's not on the Familiar list. Just say it gives you... +3 to climb or some garbage that you won't write down anyway. The important thing is it can hold a wand and open locks.

Yes. Especially with Mindsight. Plus they have the personalities of cats, which is probably the setup for a meme of some kind.

Sheriff of Moddingham: This is apparently the thread where people are drawn to post links to inappropriate content. Don't do that here. No amount of "NSFW" warning makes it okay to link to graphic sexuality or violence.
