So here's how it is. The guy who got me into gaming has since moved to Montreal, and everyone else in my group has drifted away out of lack of interest or similar. I'm still interested in playing, but find myself without a group. None of my other friends are into gaming or want to be...

Yes, as a matter of fact. There's another thread with the exact same question a few pages back, but substituting your location with rural (I think) Mid West United States.

1. The LFG section of these here boards
2. Your local comic shop may know of local groups
3. Post a flyer in said comic shop advertising you're looking for new players
4. The college probably has a club
5. Google

Also try to see if there is a http://www.meetup.com page for your area. Their seems to be ones for a lot of different areas.
