And second of all, this thread will contain spoilers, since its about something I don't understand in the fourth OOTS book.

Now, for those of you who have bought the fourth book, you know that it contains a cast of characters. And on that page there are pictures of all the people that is involved in this book, and then a line to another person for if that person killed the other one, captured and etc. etc. But what I don't understand is that from Belkarthere is an arrow that point to Vaarsuvius that says "Wants to Shtup". What does that mean? because I check above and from Haley to Elan it says "Dating/Shtupping" those that mean - and I quote Belkar- that Belkar wants to "bone" V?

It was a joke, but I think it's canon too. Belkar wants to sleep with Vaarsuvius (but he probably still hates hir), and V just hates him. Maybe it'll get more attention, maybe it won't, but it's great fodder for fanfiction.

The preponderance of the evidence suggests that V's theory is complete crap. Belkar likes Elan (Roy has boobies!) but doesn't want to sleep with him. For the most part, Belkar does choose from one of 3 options (leave alone because it's not worth the effort, kill, 'bone') but not always.

This has been considered false, as V isn't always right. Belkar clearly have more emotions than hate and lust, take for example Mr. Scruffy. Belkar doesn't hate him, but he doesn't want to sleep with him either.

Belkar does demonstrate a special fondness for Mr. Scruffy. Consider that in light of the future incident that the Oracle mentions to the spellcasters who come to raise him. Unless you value your sanity, of course.
