Should I go Swordsage with a Breed Leech? or should I go Ranger with a Throwing Scarab?

I'm not sure which one would be better, and which feats I should take for either one. Level 1, 2 flaws and traits max.

my personal favorite has always been the throwing scarab. It's unobtrustive enough that you can just say it's a piece of jewlery, and that's acid damage, meaning it'll bypass damage reduction, just not resistance to acid
