What would be a good spell for a blaster wizard to slap Arcane thesis on?

For single target stuff, probably one of the orbs in SpC. Orb of Fire has pretty decent rider effect, though you might want the change the element.

Can't remember what sonic snap is from, but fell drain is a +2 metamagic that makes a spell dish out a negative level to all affected. It's from Libris Mortis, I think.
EDIT: Looked it up, and sonic snap is from the Spell Compendium. It was also apparently referred to as "Horzikal's Cough" in some earlier sourcebook.Last edited by BladeofOblivion; 2010-08-28 at 07:31 PM.
