    hey I made a Kensai and I would to make it vorpal but i dont want to wait till 5th level could I switch all the +'s at level 5

    No. Kensais still obey the normal rules for enchanting weapons in terms of bonuses...you must have a +1 bonus before you add effects. Vorpal is a +5, therefore you cannot kae your weapon Vorpal before Kensai 6.

    No i mean could i put bonuses on it from level 1-4 then change it at 5th or 6th or whatever

    It could work if you start with a masterwork weapon.

    ...no. Masterwork weapons can't be given straight abilities either.

    No, Masterwork provides a +1 Enhancement bonus on To Hit. It is not +1 Enhancement bonus, it just provides +1 to hit, and the bonus is typed as Enhancement. +1 Enhancement Bonus is a Magic Weapon Ability that provides +1 Enhancement bonus To Hit, +1 Enhancement bonus on Damage, makes the weapon count as Magic, and increases the weapon's Hardness by 2 and HP by 10.
