[D&D 3.5] Wizard simple question.

What is the best mix of incantatrix and halruan elder lvls, to get the most from them?

Im not asking for builds, just and i know this may be another boring wizard thread, just wanted the wiser players to tell me.

Incantatrix less than 3 levels is obviously madness, and you probably want all 10. Improved Metamagic is pretty much Adroit Casting on crack, and even stacks with it, while the bonus feats and Instant Metamagic are awesome. 4 levels of Halruaan Elder is more than enough, letting you pick, say, Persist and Quicken or Quicken and Twin for Adroit Casting.

So Wiz 5/Inca 10/Halru 5 or Wiz 3/MS 2/Inca 10/Halru 4/Archmage 1.

That is exactly what i was thinking, but wanted the point of view of someone more experienced than me.
